in a word – incredible. from the moment you walk in the door and smell what Chef Brita has cooking, you KNOW you’re in for a delightful and tastefully curated menu of delicious, healthy, and well-sourced options for a meal any time of the day. i’ve been here twice over the past three months and ordered the same dish: Greek Salad with their housemade crab cake. in the beautiful, small town of Hot Springs, it is not hard to find quality food, drinks, and hospitality, but the attention to detail—from VR’s food menu, beer/wine offerings, and grocery (wow!)—has been curated to both refined palettes and hiker hungers alike. my toque is off and sincere thanks to Chef Brit and the VR team/owners for putting together such a well-rounded establishment. VR is a MUST-stop/sit/sip/snack/savor location in town.

We were impressed by their selection of various organic goods and other items that are perfect for health conscious people on the go. The brunch menu is something not to be missed as well! Also, we enjoyed the outside dining, which includes seating along the main strip.

Such a delicious surprise dining experience! I originally had planned to eat across the street, but that restaurant was closed, which led me to this incredible place. The frittata, roasted beets and carrot cake were AMAZING. I even tried a bite of my friends sandwich melt which was just mouth watering. It’s only been a few days since I discovered this spot and I’m craving more!!!

We went in for lunch and we’re welcomed by the delicious scent of fresh baked crab cakes. I ordered them because I could not leave without trying them! Delicious, fresh, and full of crab not filler! While you are waiting for the food to be ready take a look at all of their special items, they have a great selection of specialty items and natural as well!

Wanted a cold beer that evening, they were just about to close for the day but the gentleman working allowed me to come in for a beer (which hit the spot) a local draft pale ale that while I drank J looked around. Very neat place with an eclectic selection of food, drink and other knickknacks. Friendly service. Recommend it to anyone in the area!

Delicious healthy spot in the center of Hot Springs. Not very many seats, but they have a few tables inside and out, a bar top inside, and a bar top outside looking out on the street. I ordered the rice bowl with chicken and the strainge beast hard kombucha and it was such a lovely experience! Friendly staff and a cute little market inside as well. Will be coming back!

Hands down the best Greek salad I have had. I can tell they use higher quality ingredients compared to most places, and they do not skimp on the feta cheese and the tasty olives. I also had the roasted beets which chopped some to toss in my salad. Very good! My teenager ate the Italian sub which he said was the 2nd best sandwich/sub he has ever eaten (first place is in St. Croix), so Vaste gets 1st place in America.
