Came here for lunch on a Wednesday and it was really nice. Not too busy and the staff was super friendly. I like how relaxed the ordering and dining experience is here. They have a few good vegetarian options and you can order by the taco so you get just as much as you want. Definitely a nice place to have around the sloans lake neighborhood.

I got the burrito as a bowl and it was pretty much just burrito toppings put into a takeout dish as opposed to a bed of rice with all the toppings on top. Hopefully this will be worked out through trial and error because the food was really good! Just not enough for $17 and not the right proportions for a proper bowl. Would try again!

Swing and a miss. Cool atmosphere but if you’re looking for a quality upscale fast casual taco place, keep looking. Live one block away so it’s super convenient for my wife and I to walk over. After the 3rd time trying it shame on me. For 4-5 dollars a taco they should really be homemade. No excuse. Instead they use the Mission rubber corn tortillas. Put more meat on the tacos. I understand this increases your cost but it doesn’t matter when you’re only serving 70-100 tacos a night. The biggest complaint was the food being served cold. Do not serve room temp food. Hopefully this is constructive criticism. The service and staff was great but they really need to up the main thing they offer. Makes me miss Lola’s even more.

A little on the pricey side for tacos, but the quality and quantity of the filling balances it out. I had the carnita tacos, which were good, but nothing too special. I also had the coconut shrimp tacos… quite simply amazing! I will definitely visit again to try some of their other dishes for sure.

Disgusting rice, horrible customer service and sub par tacos. I had maybe two tablespoons worth of microwave rice that I payed 2$ for as a side, my tacos Al pastor were ok but I had to spit out a large chunk of fat that I couldn’t even chew. Staff was aloof and reclusive. My food took fifteen to twenty minutes and was not worth the wait. Not to mention the cashier let someone with a cat in her arms walk around the restaurant to get a free fountain drink, really grossed me out hate to think about how many other animals have been here. Would not recommend.

Love love love the new taco salads with chicken. I also get the burritos a lot, theyre super filling. My fav drink is probably the classic marg with peach, but they have an awesome happy hour and its a nice bonus they also offer it on sundays!

This spot was a big disappointment. The prices are too high for drinks imo, even though you have to be the one to go stand up and wait in line to pay one drink at a time. The food was fine, but nothing special and the salsa was horrible (it tasted like tortilla soup). It’s a strange mix between fast casual and upscale mexican food with way too many seats and a lot of staff standing around that I wish would wait on customers instead. I don’t think I’ll try it another time, despite living up the street.
