Fresh food, great portions. Family of 4 spent about $70 for 4 entrees and a salad. Everyone enjoyed their meal. I would have given them 5 starts but the service could have been a little better.

My coworker and I ordered steak and cheese grinders from here today. Ironically it’s called “the big boy”. Talk about deception and false advertisement. What we received was a joke. Toasted grinder rolls with a sprinkle of over cooked microwaved steakumms. Possibly a slice of cheese (and I’m being generous with that statement). Do yourself a favor and order elsewhere. If this is the quality of food that comes out of this place the owner should do themselves a favor and find new kitchen staff. $22 down the drain and needless to say I’m still hungry.

I cannot recommend this place. I ordered the vegetarian lasagna and it has never seen vegetables. I was served microwaved mixed vegetables that definitely were frozen on the side. If I wanted mixed vegetables from the microwave I would stay home. The lasagna itself was pretty much tasteless. The service was good, but who cares if the food isn’t good.

I stop bye with my wife, my daughter and three granddaughters we were having our meal and halfway through the meal a roach crawled into the pizza plate . We called the waiter and told him about the roach. He said I’m sorry I’ll go speak to the owner the owner send him back and says that he will discount the pizza and that he apologizes, I told the waiter to get the owner so I can talk to him personally and let them know how unprofessional and how filthy this place really is the owner came back call us a lowlife and kicked us out all I can say he was very lucky that I was able to contain myself But just want to let everybody know how filthy and disgusting this place is the owner is a scumbag and his place is infested

My family and I went to eat at this location and a roach was on the serving pizza tray. We call the waiter and he saw it and apologized took the pizza, came back and said the owner apologize and my husband said have the owner come out so he can speak to him. The waiter is embarrassed and the owner keeps sending him to do the talking. Finally The owner comes out and apologizes because he saw it. I don’t know what he was thinking. He said it could be far more worse. My husband says you need to get this place cleaned. The owner says that his place is clean that he can show us , he said that sometimes roaches come in the pizza boxes when he buys them and it must have crawled to pizza serving tray. At this point we’re all disgusted. Conversation got out of control he was screaming at us, saying to get out of his restaurant and my stepdaughter said there was a roach on our pizza plate and you saw it. He called her a B————and that we’re doing all of this because we don’t want to pay for the food. My husband said we’re business owners here in Stratford not only do we buy pizza from here but we have ordered pizza for the Stratford Police and Stratford Fire and you think we’re doing all of this not to pay for food, like we don’t have money to pay, is how you handled it!! Never again. We’ll take our business somewhere else.

I like Vazzys but lately they can’t seem to produce decent takeout( failed the last 3 times I’ve ordered.) Tonight they failed miserably. I ordered a scungilli Salad with extra scungilli on side (in a separate container) and a eggplant parm grinder with a special instruction to add let, tom and onion after it was cooked. What I got??? ….. Scungilli Salad made like never before with chickpeas at the bottom of the dish!. Since it was the end of the night – sure hope i didnt get someone’s left over salad thrown in my dish. (Just saying) And a side of calamari Salad instead of scungilli Salad. Don’t like calamari salad so this was a total bust for me! So the eggplant “parm for hubby ” had no sauce or cheese just dry eggplant on the roll with let, tom and onion! . So instead, we ate donuts and for dinner . Oh just wanna give credit where it is due….the bread they serve with the salad is good all the time!! And the folks there are nice buttttt either the person taking the order and/or the cooks can’t get it right. Thanks Vazzys for yet another ruined meal!

Racist and rude the waitress ignored me completely never made eye contact nor spoketo me directly not even when I was placing my order. She picked up my friends dirty plate she happens to be white and never once glanced over at me and I was the one paying. Terrible crusty service. I will never go back here again. I’ve been here twice and it’s happened both times as if I wasn’t welcomed here. they also have disgusting flies everywhere that constantly land in your hair food buzz around your face. I’ll pass.

Service and owner sucks very unprofessional and rude. I found a roach on our food and told the owner and he began to brush it off like it was no big deal and got aggressive saying that I just didn’t want to pay when that was not the case. I did not order roaches on my pizza!!!! Will never be going there again!!!
