Had a really great experience for my 1st time here. I am a vegetarian & really enjoyed the food. The cauliflower tacos were good, but a slightly bland. The breakfast burger was great. The fries were good. Service was excellent & the art from local artists decorated the walls & are also for sale.

So glad this eagerly awaited vegan restaurant is now open! My partners and I tried the special (seitan filet mignon with mashed potatoes and asparagus) and two menu items that I think will be hits: the Nashville sandwich and the cheeseburger. You have a choice of patties, I tried the “meat-like patty,” and it was the best vegan burger I’ve had in a very long time. Amazing service and charming ambience. I can see Veg Head quickly becoming a new favourite for queer date nights. ✨

If you’re looking for vegan food, this is one of the few gems to try out in the Greater Lansing area. VegHead provides a variety of options for people to eat, from appetizers to handheld sandwiches that are awesome. There is also plenty of seating available for those looking for booth and takeout is also available. I shared with my wife the jack fruit BBQ sandwich and cauliflower tacos as shown in the picture. The Nashville sauce also slaps and compliments the food well. The loaded fries were great but make sure to use a fork to mix up the fries. A lot of the cheese was at the bottom of the bowl. That was fine with us as discovered the cheesy basement in our bowl and we also mixed in the Nashville sauce in it too to elevate the flavor profile. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for something new to try! Will be back again.
