We decided to try Vele for our anniversary last night and it did not disappoint! It was the best meal we’ve ever had in Springfield by far. We ordered the Sea and Smoke whiskey, grilled octopus, lamp lollipops, ribeye, and the tiramisu dessert. Everything was delicious, especially the ribeye! Definitely worth every penny we paid. The service was great too!! We’ll definitely be back!

Amazing dinner and service! Lauren was an excellent server and was attentive and knowledgeable. Chef Tyler does an outstanding job with food. Charred oysters fabulous, tuna tartar fresh and plentiful. Filet tips were tender and perfect. Tyler came out by request and he is a delightful young man! Keep up the great work, we will be back!

Vele is the best restaurant in Springfield. I went for my birthday and it was amazing! Get the scallops! I also loved the crispy broccolini & the cocktail Mrs. Sherry. I would recommend sitting inside to get the full experience.

Superb menu options with very friendly staff and excellent service. I was very impressed here. The bar selection and service was great, and the food something to come back for. Great spot for a date night, celebration, or work gathering! I would definitely recommend trying the grilled Caesar salad. Such a unique and smoky flavor!

We went for the first time because we were gifted a gift certificate. We were celebrating our anniversary and brought along our young daughter on a Wednesday evening. My husband and I ordered cocktails which were all tasty (gin and bourbon). We had tuna tartare and oysters, then lobster linguine and short rib pasta. All of the entrees were delicious and the pasta was house-made and you could tell. We also ordered dessert because we were on a roll and the cheesecake was also tasty! Normally we wouldn’t spend as much for dinner without a gift card or special occasion but honestly the meal was really worth the price. We are relatively new to the Springfield area (we’re originally from Chicago area) and this is the only restaurant I we’ve visited that can honestly say is 5 stars. Our server was Morgan and she was also great! No issues with bringing our young daughter, either. They provided us with a high chair.

My wife’s ravioli dough was too thick and undercooked and the sauce was cold. Caprese Salad was ordered to be served first. The lettuce was wilted and a disappointing, and also had a $9 glass of Prosecco (sparkling wine) and left with a $45 debit on my CC.

I had dinner here and it was absolutely delicious. I could tell that they were possibly short staffed as most places are post-pandemic, however, the team worked well together, were accommodating and provided a great experience while waiting.
