The service was great, food came out pretty quickly. One taco, the fried cauliflower, was excellent, had a great spice level and crispy cauliflower. The chicken and waffle taco was not so great, the slaw makes it really watery and hard to eat, I couldn’t even pick it up I had to fork and knife it. Taste was just okay, just a little too sweet for me.

Unique taco creations that are delicious! Our favorite was the Cuban pig. We also tried the Korean fried rice and the chicken and waffle and they were also tasty. Tacos had lots of flavor and were pretty large.

Velvet taco has some of the best food and service I have ever had in my life. To start, the tacos were extra stuffed. The loaded nachos were extra loaded. I would definitely come here again and I 100% recommend this place to anyone who wants to take “extra” to the next level.

I can’t even begin to express how disappointed I am with my recent visit to Velvet Taco in Nashville. The tacos were beyond bland – it’s like they forgot to add any seasoning whatsoever. The flavors were so dull that I couldn’t believe I was actually eating at a taco place. Frankly, I’ve had tastier fast food tacos at places like Taco Bell, which says a lot about the lackluster experience I had here. It’s frustrating to spend money on something that not only failed to satisfy my taste buds but left me wondering why I bothered in the first place. I hope the management takes these criticisms seriously and makes some serious improvements to the menu. Until then, I won’t be returning.

If you want tacos that are different this is the place. Large selection of tacos including a “fish and chips” taco. Mix and match your selection so you can try several different kinds. The slow roasted angus brisket taco was very flavorful. There was a line to place my order but that was expected on a busy Friday night. The food is worth the wait.

Sorry about the bite mark on the delicious Picnic Chicken taco, I was excited lol. This taco was perfection with just the right amount of sauce and different textures. The Korean Fried Rice taco was fun for something different, and obviously fried rice on a taco , but a little sauce would have helped the pork. Overall would eat it again, but the Picnic Chicken stole the show this round.
