Brought the kids here for breakfast. I was a little skeptical, this used to be one of my favorite burger joints (Broome Street burgers). The food was excellent, and the staff couldn’t been nicer. Great place to go if you want a quick inexpensive meal, and you get to support a small business at the same time.

Vera kitchen in Waxhaw! Cozy little breakfast brunch spot. The whole space is decorated with love, nothing fancy but the flowers here and there some how makes me feel warm like at grandmas❤️! Right inside the Marathon gas station, don’t miss it!

The owner, Vera, is very nice. She came around to each table to thank us for coming. The food and service were both good. Food arrived expeditiously. I tried the hamburger steak w/ gravy & onions, fried okra and mac and cheese. The hamburger steak and okra were excellent. However, the mac and cheese could use some seasoning as it was kind of bland. Overall, I’d recommend giving it a try. I will be making a return trip to try their other various items.

I had breakfast at Vera’s Kitchen for the first time. I tried the egg and bacon on a biscuit, and it was delicious. The service was very good and Vera brought us our food. If you are in downtown Waxhaw, I highly recommend Vera’s Kitchen for breakfast.

This is a family owned business and they are very friendly. I have only had their breakfast food and it is great. I have always found a table and never had to wait unlike another very popular breakfast place in town. I would highly recommend Vera’s!

We dined at Vera’s twice during our stay visiting family. The first time, we brought 15 people, and they promptly accommodated us. The service was great, staff was very fiendly. We will for sure be coming back whenever we visit Waxhaw again!

I’ve gotten several meals from Vera’s and every one has been great. I’ve never gotten delivery fries that were still warm until I ordered from Vera’s. Best burger in the area. Their onion rings are crisp and delicious. The BLT is perfection.
