Unfortunately my husband and I both came down with food poisoning after eating lunch from Verde a week ago. We shared a salad, thankfully my toddler ate something different off the menu and didn’t get ill. We had the rice and quinoa base in our salad, and looking at other reviews now perhaps there is something in the way this is being prepared, stored, and/or handled that is causing issues. Needless to say I won’t be returning to a place that has multiple reviews about food borne illness over a span of time. Something needs to be addressed.

We’ve visited Verde a few times now , food is awesome . The only thing that doesn’t make this place perfect is that every one of our orders had either something missing or the wrong dish all together , also placing orders to go online , when I got there this last time the food wasn’t ready or even started because of their printer not being online so I had to wait for it , something I was trying to avoid because of a meeting I had to get to . Other then that it’s a great place I recommend it for sure .

Went to grab a bowl and in the line saw a black employee fart while in the line making the food and it smelled up the whole place. Disgusting place and also the owners are super rude and a bit racist because I’m black when I tried to tell them of the farting employee and tried to blame me for farting. How dare they

I have only had verde one other time (last week, same location on Coleman) and last time I ordered in person and it was great! Unfortunately tonight I put in an online order and three of the ingredients I ordered where incorrect. I received brown rice and quinoa instead of quinoa tabbouli and I wasn’t wanting all that rice. I asked for roasted chickpeas which are crunchy and crouton-like but received regular boiled chickpeas. I am fairly sure I had to pay extra for these and did not receive them. Lastly and most sadly, I certainly did pay for and was absolutely looking forward to the avocado I order but it was accidentally left out. Not one little chunk or smear anywhere.

A great find, all they do are salads which can be ordered in a bowl or in a wrap. The staff members were very welcoming, attentive, friendly, and helpful explaining the different salads and also offering us several options for customizing the pre-designed salads or if we didn’t see a salad we liked, we could “design-our-own” salad. My wife ordered the Seasonal “Strawberry Fields w/roasted chicken” in a bowl and I ordered the “Mesa Verde” in a wrap. Both of our selections were made to order, filled with fresh ingredients, delicious, and to boot, the portion sizes were large. There were plenty of inside and outside seating available but because we were only a few minutes away from our hotel we elected to bring our food back to our hotel room to enjoy. We thoroughly enjoyed our meals and service so we would return the next time we have a craving for a salad bowl/salad wrap.
