I have been going to this restaurant for seven years. I use to love their food. I went in tonight for two dinners and two slices. The fried shrimp were burnt. The put some cold, burnt sausage on the pizza slices. The pizza was warm but the sausage was not cooked with the pizza.

First time customer. Last time I will ever use this establishment. I’m giving 2 stars mostly because of poor customer service. My order for delivery was a large Veg. Pizza, a Cesar Salad and a 15 piece chicken wing order. The choices for sauce on the chicken were mild, spicy, habanero and bbq. I ordered “mild”. When it arrived my wife and I couldn’t eat the chicken it was so spicy. I called and spoke with the manager who argued that that was their mild sauce and it’s a matter of “taste” what is considered mild and spicy. This had a red spicy sauce in it. It was clearly not a “mild” sauce. I asked the manager to please take the charge off our bill since we could not eat the chicken. He refused and said “come in and taste the sauce we call mild”. Very poor customer service and as a result he lost a customer for life. Was that worth $15.99? The Pizza was ok and the Cesar was good. But I will never use Verdugo pizza again. Pizza Boy is a much better company. They were not open on Sunday of

I work a few blocks up from them so we decided to give them a shot a few weeks back. Their pizza was delicious. Ever since that time, we’ve only ordered from them. The quality of the pizza is great! It’s not oily, the cheese is stringy, the toppings are fresh! We decided to try some sides today and damn were they good! The chicken tenders were good, the Cesar salad was perfect and the onion rings tasted like they were dipped in batter right then and there. Pricing is good. I really like this place and I recommend it to anyone in the area!

For the most part, pizza is descent for a late night snack. We always get the Buffalo wings. I don’t like that they hardly offer great specials or meal bundles…like buy one get a 2 liter or something. Can be a bit pricey. Not a fabulous Italian restaurant. Just decent neighborhood pizza.

I usually don’t leave reviews but how do you make pizza without pizza sauce ? And call it a PIZZA ?? I don’t know maybe they ran out of pizza sauce… but who’s knows, It was my first time there I just ordered a pepperoni slice pizza, once I got the pizza I had a few bites and I realize there is no sauce underneath the cheese. So I actually peeled all the cheese out there was no sauce at ALL literally ! It was just very tiny bit on the edges just so you could see the sauce that’s all. Very disappointing.

The only pizza that is good is the Armenian pizza but even then it’s still not worth $30 for a large pizza that is basically just feta cheese, basil and tomatoes.. we have ordered it a few times and at first it was great but then with each subsequent order the quality became less and less until we decided to order a regular pizza with some tomatoe sauce and the works and boy was it gross… they use cheap cheese the kind that instantly turns the pizza orange… the color of pizza served in any public school cafeteria. and we ordered thin crust but what we got was a soggy mess and this large we ordered was a little over $30 as well.
