Best Chicken and Sausage Gumbo ever! The rest of the plates we ordered: Crawfish Etouffee, fried chicken and fried shrimp were really good too, specially the fried shrimp. Really cheap for the quality and quantity. Good service.

I was in the middle of playing tourist in the area and I figured before I started the self guided tour here, I would have a bite to eat. I got the baked potato stuffed with crawfish ettouffe and bread pudding for dessert. The food was very good. Wait staff was very friendly.

We just finished visiting the historic village and came here for lunch. So glad we did, it made our trip so easy. The plate lunch option was delicious and a good serving. They had a good kids menu as well. Not overpriced at all, good service and beautiful windows in the restaurant!

The service was okay. None of the workers acted as if they wanted to be there. I went on a Saturday. I did try a seafood platter with crawfish bisque. It was delicious. Their potato salad was a little sweet which I didn’t like though. Atmosphere is nice.

Excellent food! You get so much for the price of one plate lunch at most places! It’s wonderful that you get an appetizer, main meal, drink and dessert for one price! Lovely atmosphere and the cuisine is always on point! A little hidden gem on the Vermillion Bayou! Definitely one of my favorite places to eat!

I had they daily special of crawfish etouffee and it came with a bowl of gumbo and a bonus dessert of bread pudding! My husband had shrimp and fries. It was all excellent, seating was in a room with all windows. It was nice to look out into the village while eating.
