Such an unusual spot; little building off the highway by itself. Atmosphere was fab, cozy, lively, rustic cabin vibes. Drinks were good and service was attentive and knowledgeable. I’ll be coming back to try again as maybe I just got an off night (valentine’s) and my food was hit or miss. Husband loved his duck and we enjoyed the lemon and pistachio dessert. But my French onion soup was not great (cheese kinda hard and not melted well and I didn’t like the flavor of the broth/onions) and the cioppino was okay; I’ve had more flavorful. (You don’t see a lot of cioppino in Vermont so it’s great that it’s offered here) If this was a pub I would’ve said great, but I was expecting more. I would recommend it for a nice night and we will be coming back to try again for sure.

I honestly was hesitant to dine at VT Fine as my expectations were high as I loved the previous restaurant that maintained that space. However, I was blown out of the water. We had a big party and everyone’s food was delicious and perfectly cooked and presented. The Kale Brussel Caesar salad was a favorite, all greens dressed and shaved perfectly. I also loved the mushroom risotto, although I didn’t order this particular entree, I stole bites from my friends plate. I ordered the ginger mussels, which I would order again! The service was great the waitstaff was pleasant, patient, and prompt. The music was top notch! I couldn’t have picked a better play list! The Rummer Dreaming beverage was beyond expectations and probably one of my favorite drinks of all time. The rosemary garish was a wonderful touch! The whole vibe was on point and I can’t wait to go back!

Tonight I had our end of year dinner at VT Fine. Let me just say it was amazing! We had the upstairs room to ourselves, and there were 22 of us. The room was warm, inviting and festive and the food was amazing!!! Appetizers were great, they made dietary restrictions a breeze and all of our food came out at the same time. I am very impressed! Thank you for such a great evening. Greatly appreciated!!

My husband and I had the welcome dinner for our wedding at Vermont Fine and everything was perfect! The food and drinks were incredible, and Tom and Chelsea took great care in meeting the dietary accommodations for our guests. The set-up for the party was beautiful, and the service was great. We highly recommend reaching out to them for your event!

Spectacular food and friendly service. We were there midweek and early (5:30). By 5:45 the noise level reached pain point – think ac/dc concert levels. The waitress apologized for having to ask multiple times what we wanted and my wife and I couldn’t hear each other from across the table. I understand the need to maximize profits by putting as many tables as possible together but the result is an environment that is unusable. For me this is a do not repeat:-(

We had a great experience getting appetizers at the bar as walk-ins. The cocktails were creative and there was a good selection of seasonal appetizers. Service was prompt, friendly and professional. The environment, same as the prior establishment is cozy and bright. I’m so grateful to have another great restaurant in our area!

Best dinner I’ve had in Vermont. Drinks and drafts were delicious and we couldn’t help but share every plate with each other bragging that ours was the best. The house made pasta was a showstopper. We ordered one of each dessert as well and an additional two to go. Highly recommend Vermont Fine for special occasions or just because. Affordable for large parties.

Service was good, drinks were great. The food was fairly priced for the portion sizes. I was unimpressed with the quality of the food – my fiancé and I both thought that it tasted as though everything had been cooked in advance and then microwaved before being brought to our table. We had the cannoli for dessert. It tasted great, but the texture of the filling was a bit grainy, which was unfortunate. Also, this might be a bit nitpicky, but I was surprised that there wasn’t anywhere to hang our coats – I feel that in Vermont, it’s important to have a place available for this so you’re not wadding your coat up on your lap while you’re eating. Overall, we had a good time, but will probably not go again.
