First time going in- was super surprised how it looked. Tried the Vegan carrot hot dog and crispy fries with curry ketchup dip, presentation was appealing but cheese sauce way too spicy for me and overpowered the marinated carrot. Also tried cauliflower buffalo dip and chips which was Delish! Can’t wait to go back for bowling and some of their coffee cocktails.

CHECK YOUR BANK ACCOUNT AFTER LEAVING THIS PLACE!!! They charged my card and some of my friend’s cards twice and the second charge took a week to fall off. The food was not great at all. Had to send the fried pickles back as they looked more like zucchini. The cheese on the nachos was thick and lumpy and the chicken on the nachos tasted like it came from a can. Also, they only have 8 lanes so be prepared to wait.

This amazing 1918 bowling alley with its original eight wooden lanes has recently been renovated. There is a modern full bar, table seating and kitchen. The downstairs is a large event space with full stage, seating and huge bar.

Bowling, trivia, bingo, OH MY! what I nice place to go during the weekday. BINGO WAS ABSOLUTELY FUN. They have bingo on Thursdays. The food was DELECTABLE! I had the nachos with chicken. Feel free to check my photos for more details.

Really cool old school bowling alley. We just didnt like the food. We loved the fries. But the pizza had these huge chunks of pork that wasnt good. And the pork sandwich lacked flavor. It was really beautiful inside. The service was great. We loved keeping our own score. Had a blast here. Just lost a star for the food

Other than bowling, Vernon Lanes has some of the best food in Louisville that would rival some of the more popular restaurants in town. Appetizers such as the Vernon nachos and especially the Sloppy Joe egg rolls are fantastic!!
