I tried vero’s burger because the middletown press had an article saying they’re one of the best in the state. I don’t even know where to begin. $18.99 for a burger on soggy toast?! The whole thing fell apart. The only saving grace was the burger meat was fresh. The fries tasted like fish. They Definitely haven’t changed their fryer oil in a while.

Came in the other night with friends, we all ordered dinners which were superb! Another friend got a white broccoli rabe and sausage pizza and it is by far the best pizza around! You can taste how fresh all the ingredients are. I live 30 miles away but will definitely be eating here again. There bread is also crisp and fresh.

Friends took us here because they said they have never had a bad meal and it’s one of there favorites. I became a fan right away, since eaten there 4 times and loving the food every time especially the broccoli rabe and sausage pizza. The head chef takes amazing pride in his work and came out to great us to make sure everything was good. I highly recommend this restaurant and it’s food.

The Chicken Marsala is awesome! Flavor is spot on, plenty to go around or save for the next day. I was very impressed. Chocolate cake was great but the homemade ice cream was rock solid in the center and melting everywhere else. With that said, the flavor was pretty good. Not sure i would get the ice cream again, but definitely would get the cake again.

The BEST Broccoli Rabe! Compliments to the chef who takes such pride by hand selecting fresh ingredients daily! Superb fresh warm bread made in house, too. Luckily, friends introduced us to this hidden gem while visiting the area. Just passing thru but we loved it so much we ate there 4 out of the 5 days we were there. Wish I had a pic!

Vero , you are absolutely correct that I should have shared my feelings with the server but I didn’t want to make a scene with the party. My Salmon seemed to have been fried!? To the extent that the outside was hard and oily and inside dry. The pistachio lime paste was over poweringly sweet and dry. I had asked foe the servers recommendation and all that was stated was that I’d was great. Maybe next time let the customers know if the dish is sweet or spicy or sour etc rather than just saying it’s good. On the side of me finishing my entree I don’t like wasting food so I always try to finish my food, as you might have also noticed I scraped off the paste and ate the salmon with hot sauce instead.. again this was a professional lunch so the girls did not want to complain but thir salmon was over cooked as well. Ordered pizza and wings via DoorDash. Quality of food was very poor. Pizza was soggy and overly sauced. Wings were undercooked and had 0 crisp at all. Only reason for 2 stars is because size of small was very big. Very disappointed overall and I personally would avoid at all costs as pizza and wings is a very basic.
