I like this place quite a bit. I have tried only three things so far, and I keep ordering them again because they are very good, gyro, fries, and special sub. The sub includes roast beef, turkey, bacon, and provolone. Service is prompt and courteous. Overall, this is a recommended destination.

I’ve been getting excellent food here for years. Sadly, I will no longer be a customer. The last time I was there I got the normal sub that I always get an Italian with the works. The woman that was working there prepared my sandwich with no gloves, in the middle of making my sandwich took money from someone with bare hands and then continued to make my sandwich. Absolutely disgusting. Food is good however preparation is horrible. I might go back if they decide to change how they prepare their food.

Would give a 5 star rating except I love their fish and chips. The only difference between that and the fish dinner they push on me is the coke slaw. Not a full serving. They charge 1.50 for a dressing size of it. If they gave a full share of it definitely a 5 star. But so much for so little. Last time I called in I ordered a fish and chips and they gave me the haddock dinner. Love the place such good food but they get tricky on their orders

Ordered a Buffalo chicken calzone. The food was good, maybe a tad well done. The reason why it was not a better review was because of the attitudes of the employees. They wanted you in and out. Iam not even sure they said “thank you” for my $20+ purchase.

Had a meat-lovers pizza that had amazing crust, delicious sauce, and enough meat to completely cover the cheese. Very good pizza. French fries are great, too.

place has gone down hill bad, I used to go here alot when I was a kid. I gave It at least a few more tries before I said I can’t eat here anymore. first time I ordered an Italian sub it was covered in like a gallon of oil. 2nd time pizza and service were terrible. I called the 3rd time I asked for a stake and cheese with mushrooms onions and egg the guy was like Whhat I said it again, after the 3rd time I told him he said we don’t have egg in a rude manner and said what do you want. so I told him the sub without egg then, and everytime I go in there the people working there are so miserable. I always say hi when i enter and have a good one when i leve and no response from anyone. I even tip them everytime i go there right in front of them not even a thank you. so youve lost my business and unfortunately anyone who asked for a good place in ayer im like dont go here, my go to places are pizza Bella in Devens or my friends at bravo pizza in boxborough.

Disgusting. Worst quality food. The only place I’ve ever been to as bad as this place is The Cottage. I didn’t go here for a couple years because the food is so bad and I took a chance today and ordered Buffalo fingers. They were dried out tiny little 1“ x 4“ pieces that look like they came out of a frozen dinner but tasted even worse. No buffalo sauce on them. Just absolutely disgusting. Even the soda was completely flat. Was probably sitting around for a year since no one goes there. The only pizza place in this town with edible food is Devens Pizza and it’s not anything I would consider a really good bud at least it’s not gross and the owner is a nice guy unlike verona.

The food here is usually very good but tonight we ordered 2 ..3 way combos was $56.00. I don’t know who was cooking but the food was terrible. All of it was over cooked and was cooked in old oil. There vats need to be changed.. The scallops fish and shrimp was like rubber and the taste was terrible left a bad taste in my mouth. Onion rings were hard as golf balls with no onion inside.. so we ate a little cuz we were hungry but threw most of it away.. I don’t think I will get the sea food in there again.. also the woman who cashes people out is rood never met eye contact with me not a people person at all…
