Dine in or out… the atmosphere is beautiful. You will enjoy Verona’s menu – there is something for everyone. My husband and cousin enjoyed the veal, I splurged on fettuccine bolognese and my cousin’s wife, who is a vegetarian enjoyed a plate of spinach fettuccine with a non-meat sauce. I love to cook but I can’t cook like the chef at Verona!!

Verona is excellent and one of my favorite restaurants!!! We have been going to this restaurant for about 10 years, and we are never disappointed. The food is delicious, and the service is amazing! We get the mussels and the eggplant rollatini to start. Their fish is always fresh and when I was there the other night, I had halibut and it was the best I’ve ever had!!! Tiramisu for dessert and a cappuccino are a must! It’s a BYOB, which is nice!

We are long time customers and had a truly awful experience at Verona on Saturday, August 5th. We had a reservation for 6 people at 6 PM, with out of town guests who we wished to impress at what HAD been a favorite restaurant. Our orders were placed quickly, and appetizers took over 30 minutes to arrive. Over an hour later, we had to ask about our main meal (7:30 by now) and they finally came out only after we inquired about the wait. Many other diners arrived after us and left long before our meals were served. The place was over half empty by then.

Just tried it tonite . Not impressed at all. I see all the high reviews and can only assume people don’t get out much . Axtons in Wanaque blows it away in all catagories. The versions of the meals my family had were not even close to authentic Italian. Axtons people…..the real deal. Finally… the service was the worst I’ve ever experienced in 40 years . Wait staff as cold as ice. Lesson learned
