Tried Egusi and Fufu with chicken and beef, but it wasn’t my favorite tbh. I didn’t like the smell and I was really trying to like it but I couldn’t. It can just be my taste buds, but I’m still happy that I was able to support a local business regardless.

Visiting CA, and wanted to try some Nigerian food. I was impressed with the portions and when I say it was a hit! I mean, I made sure to take the leftovers. There was no licking of the plate, but there was definitely licking of the fingers. We were told the food is a hit or miss, and I’m glad we went on the “hit” day. That’s all. That’s it.

Truly great food. I have never had authentic West African food before coming here, but will definitely be coming back. Small, family business that really makes you feel welcomed. I had to wait a little for the food, but once I tried it, I could tell why. The chicken was tender, the stew was so flavorful, and the pounded yam was the perfect accompaniment.
