I haven’t been in here for dining in a while, although my boss orders us tacos from here often. It was pretty good tonight, chips and salsa were good, my friend got a cheese enchilada plate, and beef flauta, she really enjoyed both dishes. I ordered 3 rolled tacos and the mixto mocajete with chicken, asada and shrimp, cheese and nopales, it came with rice, beans and tortillas. It was SOO GOOD!! very well seasoned, not dry at all! My friend had never seen a molcajete, she tried some and said she will be getting one next time. We will be back soon. Don’t forget to leave from for dessert, house made ice cream and paletas. I got a scoop of pistachio ice cream and my friend got cookies and cream and strawberry milk based ice cream. They have water based ones as well. They have a nice size menu. I forgot to take pictures of my food because I was hungry lol so here’s her plate.

First time customers of Vero’s Mexican food. We opted for takeout. We ordered the carne asada burrito, ceviche tostada, chips and salsa. My burrito was pretty good. There was plenty of meat and it had good flavor. My bride liked her ceviche tostada but said they were somewhat skimpy on the fish. The chips were good but did not justify the 10 dollar bill they cost. The salsa was extra. Vero’s very much earns 4 stars but will need some more visits from us to earn the 5th star. Nonetheless it provided for a good first impression. As Arnold would say ” I’ll be back”!

As a man who might’ve celebrated the night before to hard— I needed a good bowl of menudo. Veros was the only place that was open early enough for my breakfast craving. I also ordered the breakfast burrito for my wife— bacon egg and cheese.

Really good, best surf n turf burrito in town but honestly the salsa is so watered down , at least the habanero one is. Good flavor but they try to make more of it so they add water and we can tell , that’s it .

My husband and i have now had Veros many times, for different meals of the day, and everything has been delicious. He lives for their chilaquiles! I usually get the asada steak and egg burrito for breakfast. We stopped in for lunch this time and got: chicken chimichanga plate, abodaba mini tacos and the chorizo plate. Everything was really good and a bonus of getting ice cream right there afterwards. Highly recommend and is now my go to place.
