The ambiance of Vertical gets you right as you enter the restaurant. Our dining was amongst wine bottles. It was intimate and cozy. Our waitress was knowledgeable and attentive to our needs. Our meals were excellent! Our party of four agreed we need to come back!

Great service and food. Everything was great. It was a high quality dining experience. Not inexpensive but also not overpriced for the quality of service, food, and drinks. This is the place you take your woman for a night out and show her how much you love her and spend some money on a great experience. This was my first time there. Although we can never expected perfect service, that is exactly what we had. My wife whom I have taken to many nice restaurants said this was the best dinner date she had experienced.

My husband and I went here for our 17th Anniversary and had a lovely time. Our waitress Iesha was so good. She was busy but still checked in with us and made sure we were enjoying our dining experience. The manager, Gordon, also checked in with us a couple of times and was pleasant and accommodating.

Vertical Detroit was an awesome find during our stay in Detroit. This restaurant is high end featuring an expansive wine menu. Chef Matt Barnes prepared tantalizing dishes that were bursting with flavor and cooked perfectly. The pork belly was tender, delicate, and mouth watering.
