Their pizza is only bread, barely any cheese or sauce on my Sicilian slice . I know times are hard but this is nuts, I just paid $4 an old looking piece of bread. Please go to Genos pizza in woodside queens and let me know if im wrong and genos slices are $2.75 even Sicilians and thats woodside not the hood.

I’ve tried the baked ziti, penne a la vodka and of course their regular pizzas. Always fast, friendly and delicious. Can’t beat the prices either. Best Italian food in this area.

This pizzeria is a nice hole in the wall spot with good service and good pizza made just how you like it. It’s never to busy, and your order never takes to long to make.

What I love about NYC is you generally can get pretty good pizza no matter where you go. But this place was BETTER than good. Heck, I’m pretty sure I could smell them the second I stepped onto the nearby station platform. I instantly craved pizza and wanted to float on the scent wafting from the street below. Plain slices were well-priced, as a plus. One bite and I was a happy customer. The crust was thin and slightly crispy without being stiff or crunchy. The sauce was flavorful, peppery, and slightly chunky. And there was that perfect amount of cheese that gives you that delicious, gooey pull when you take a bite. Honestly one of the best slices of pizza I’ve ever had. Would give 10 stars if I could.

I visited this establishment today on 3/5/21. I immediately noticed there was no menu anywhere in site to determine the prices. Paid $13.61 for just 3 slices of pizza. Two slices had pepperoni while the other was plain. Didn’t order a drink. I later discovered at home that the pizza wasn’t cooked correctly and was raw in various areas of the pizza. It was lacking in both sauce and cheese as well. Been ordering at Vesuvio’s pizzeria for 17 years and never had issues in the past. This new restaurant is not worth your time or money. What a shame for our community.

Missing the good ol’ Vesuvios pizza that was originally here. Big tasty pizza, cheap and good service. Now, this new joint has decent pizza, it lacks in a good tasting sauce and not enough cheese to and I may say it was a bit too overpriced. I got one pepperoni slice, one regular slice & drink and it nearly was $12.

Are they still open? This is my go-to place in the Bronx and I went last weekend and it was closed and I passed by yesterday and saw it was still closed. I never see them closed for that long. I’m hoping they are just on a well-deserved vacation.
