Get the Omnivore! I want to say showing up on a Friday night at 6pm and being sat in 20 minutes was a great surprise. This was my first time having Detroit Style pizza and I was impressed. The Small size is a perfect size meal for an adult and a good split for kids. The pizza was perfectly cooked but took about 30/35 minutes for it to get to us. It you’re in to cocktails I highly suggest getting the Hibicus Margarita. It was light and refreshing. After I ordered one for my wife and tried it, I had to get one…it was too delicious. The cinnamon sticks were a perfect cap to the meal and actually stole the show. Other than the long wait for the pizza it was a perfect spot for a Friday night.

Not a bad place to grab a decent slice of pie. Hardly a wait list for a late Friday dinner. Had a gluten free crust, topped with pepperoni & mushrooms. The crust was light with a very nice crunch to the edges. Pepperoni had a crisp bite with a slightly spicy taste. Mushrooms were hardly noticed but the sauce was close to bland. For the amount of people in the restaurant, Ozzy blasting over the PA was not necessary. All in all, a decent vibe and good bite.

When we first walked in assuming we already had a reservation to celebrate my cousins birthday the hostess was not very accommodating. She informed us there were no reservations for tonight scheduled and we could wait till the tables cleared out. We were not happy waiting but when our server/bartender of this location named Levi made everything so much better. He was attentive the whole night taking care of our table of 14 people besides being the only bartender for the restaurant. He explained everything about the types of pizzas they offer in detail which included what could and could not even done with a smile the whole night. He also recommended different types of draft beers that could compare to the same flavors of the beers our guests were used to drinking. Everyone who ordered cocktails said they were also delicious. The pizza and the cheese sticks were delicious and we will definitely be back.

I am from Ohio and very familiar with Detroit pizza. The look and the feel of the place are great! Our server was great he was great! We got the bar style pizza because we love the thin crust, and it was pizza. The thing about the bar-style pizza is that sauce is thin, which we really liked. We didn’t even know the sauce was on the pizza. The broccoli was good and flavourful, not overly charred. The cinnamon sticks were soft and lite. We didn’t it expect them to have a full bar. The drinks were fantastic! I have been looking for a good pizza place near me and I found it! The Via 313 Pizza is the place…

Amazing Detroit style pizza. We tried the carnivore with pepperoni, sausage, sausage and ham. Thick super crisp crust with spicy pepperoni and sausage we loved it. Service was excellent. Good number of micro-brewery beers on tap. Tried the Thirsty Goat amber. I will be going back to try a different pizza and beer soon.

We visited for the first time this last Saturday evening. We were a bit caught off guard by the pools of water as we walked in. Apparently they didn’t get an a/c that can handle the Texas heat, so they had coolers throughout the restaurant. No complaints! I’m super glad they had the coolers, otherwise we would have moved on to a place with air conditioning.

Mid experience overall. I really wanted to like the place but unfortunately a couple of mishaps. Soda was flat, they knew about the issue but didn’t bother letting us know before we ordered soda. Still charged me for flat soda. Pizza took forever to cook, may want to streamline that process. If you have never had Detroit pizza and are a picky eater don’t order it. Order the bar style. For as long as it took the pizza to cook the taste was average. I may not come here again we’ll see.

Went to lunch with 2 friends at 11:30m on a weekday. Lots of available tables. Server was very friendly. Started with the roasted broccoli and cauliflower. It was good but slightly bland, even with its balsamic drizzle. Could have used more drizzle or seasoning. We then shared a beet salad which was delicious. We ordered a half and half pizza, half Detroiter and half Cadillac with a side of hot honey. I had heard so many good things about this pizza that my expectations were very high and I was a little disappointed. It was just good. Not amazing. Very crispy edges. Red sauce flavor was just ok. We were given a free dessert because it was our first time visiting which was super nice. I will say that they were playing extremely loud music and there was some construction going on at the entrance which made it difficult to have a conversation. I think I need to go again and give it a second try.

This was my first time having Detroit Deep Dish Pizza. Customer Service was phenomenal, Emily Irizarry took care of our table, she was great! The atmosphere was ok, I think the restaurant was understaffed that day, but I had great service. I really enjoyed my Detroit Deep Dish. My friend enjoyed the traditional style as well so overall this was a good experience. The overall 3 star rating is because this category has serious competition in San Antonio! You have Dough Pizzeria & Grimaldis in San Antonio which is great competition to Via 313. Overall, I Recommend Via 313.
