This may date me but I remember this location as the OG Zio Johno’s and while the interior is immensely more modern & they have a new name, the food has not changed much. They are most well known for their Gondola Subs (which are 16″ & only $5 on Mondays! & pictured) made on their yummy Sweet Bread and their Family Meal Deals, usually 1 Gallon of Spaghetti, 1 Gallon of Spaghetti Sauce and a loaf of Garlic Bread. I’ve ordered many other things in the past and can also recommend their Ranch Dressing if you get a salad and Ice Cream. This location has suffered from the pandemic so there probably won’t be many customers dining in and you may have to wait for someone to pop up to the counter. But that means you may have the restaurant to yourselves and the Gondolas are premade and ready to go on Mondays…you really can’t beat them for only $5.

I ordered carry out around 8 pm. Very easy order, I wanted the lasagna special and fried ravioli appetizer. The appetizer is all I planned to eat for dinner because I don’t like their meat sauce. I got ravioli in meat sauce. I called back at 8:31, they didn’t answer the first time and the second time, they did. When I asked if they could make it, she said the kitchen closed 2 mins ago and that I could come and pick up the fried ravioli tomorrow. That’s ridiculous! Bad customer service. And now I’m cooking for myself, and typing this while my family is enjoying a movie and dinner.

Completely ruined our evening. Decided to give a local restaurant a chance. Yes we did use a delivery service, they did nothing wrong on their end. The restaurant on the other hand, never answered the phone when we called to get corrections straight on our botched order. Ended up calling the other franchise, lady was very nice on her end. Gave the original one more call before closing and she was rude and pretty much told us to **** off. No meatballs in spaghetti (paid extra and wanted marinara not meat) . Wanted Alfredo not meat sauce on tortellini. Both came smothered in red sauce that was so burnt we didn’t even try to hold our nose to eat. Added the cutlery to our order. Thank goodness my hotel had some in lobby or else I’d have to eat with my hands…Complete disaster. But the rude girl wanting to not answer the phone before they close is what put the icing on the cake. Pandemic or not, customer service is what keeps these local businesses alive. We Will NEVER give this place another opportunity to be supported.

So apparently because I didn’t tip on a carry out order the lady working behind the counter decided that me waiting in the lobby was offensive to her and started getting rude. I just went and waited in my car instead, the pizza was done and she did bring it out to me and when I thank her she rolls her eyes and walks away without saying a word. What a fun way to ensure I never go back. I didn’t think tipping got so bad to where just taking my order was considered to be a service I pay extra for. Good times.

I love the fries, and the ranch but I tried one of those fried mushrooms but they gave our food and waited over 40 minutes felt like the fried mushrooms were redropped – (Center point Rd area)

The meat sauce tastes bitter, like it cooked too long or too high of heat and the sugars in the sauce burned. Even better, at the bottom of our family bucket was hair. Dark hair. The salad was old, wilting and browning. The best part is the bread, it has a nice flavor and texture. They didn’t include any parmesan or croutons or anything. They left my dessert off pickup order. Overall, would not order again.

I’m very confused by this place. The crust for the pizza was great, the cheese was great, the sauce was good, but the toppings are just frozen toppings. I could be wrong but it appears they make the dough here at least, why not the meats? Also the cheese bread was OVERWHELMINGLY disappointing. Was was seemingly chibota bread with butter and garlic seasoning put on top with a slice of mozzarella cheese placed on top then baked. All this effort gets put in the dough it seems but everything else is very poorly applied after that. Like I said I’m very confused by this place.

The fried mushrooms were under cooked, soggy to say the least. The girl at the register wasn’t really that friendly. I felt like I was a bother just coming to order
