Tasty mixed drinks,Great fresh Ingredients on some creative yet familiar dishes. Only thing is it’s such a small space. I could definitely over here the couple next to me entire conversation. Not saying its a deal breaker just a turn off. I’ll be sure to visit during off hours.

Finally had the opportunity to dine at Vico in Farmingdale. The inspiration for the restaurant and each dish comes from the coastal town of Vico on the Amalfi Coast. We started with a delicious hot antipasto plate which consisted of mozz and corroza, delicious potato croquettes and a great spin on traditional cappellini cake using carbonara pasta in place of traditional. We order 2 pasta dishes which were both delicious. It’s common to eat bread along side of the pasta to soak up the sauce but VICO takes it to a new level serving their pasta in a bread bowl. BRILLIANT!!!! And we had to add Burrata because everything is better with Burrata.

Second time there and did not disappoint. Seated promptly outside (our reservation). Attentive staff. Tasty drinks. Meatball appetizer and pizza were delicious. Fresh pasta bowl even more so. A little pricey but glad we went back and will be back again.

The restaurant delivers a fantastic dining experience. The menu is diverse and the dishes are incredibly flavorful, particularly the chicken scarpiello . Service is prompt and the staff is warm and friendly. The cocktails were to die for, highly recommend this place even if it’s just for drinks and apps. Overall, it’s a must-visit spot for food lovers.

I came to Vico with a special needs person. He ordered his meal. We paid separately. His meal was $22.81. He paid with $25. He also left $3 for the waiter’s tip. After waiting awhile for his change of $2.19, he approached the waiter and asked for his change. The waiter told him he was wrong. I went up to explain the situation 3 times. The waiter’s answer was “so you’re leaving me a $1 tip? “ I said “No…. His bill was $22.81 and he gave you $25 + a $3 tip. He gets back $2.19.” Waiter said it again “so you’re only giving me a $1 tip?” So again i said you owe him $2.19. He comes back with $2. I asked him for $.19 and he says “you want $.19?” By this time I was ready to call the manager but didn’t want to upset my individual. I explained my individual didn’t make much money. The waiter just gave me a look. This is the second time this week this happened at a restaurant.

The Sunday family takeout special is amazing. The food is delicious and at a great price. My family loved the meatballs and the pasta with sausage and broccoli rabe. I called last minute for a party and it worked out perfect!!!!

Booked a reservation for an early Mother’s Day dinner. We had a great experience! The food was delicious and their pastas and cheeses are homemade which is *chef kiss* They recently opened, so they said they are still finalizing the menu. But from what we can see, it was already a 10/10. My only feedback is that the dessert menu is a little lacking & our Nutella pizza came without the Nutella (lol) but other than that, we had a great experience. This restaurant is really impressive & different while still giving you a homey Italian meal.

The food here is one of the best Italian experiences I’ve had in the area. The pasta is always al dente, the sauces are tasty, complex, and you can taste the various ingredients so that nothing is over powering the other, and plates are well presented and varied.
