Good food. The lunch buffet is a great value. The fried chicken is awesome.

The best fried chicken I have ever tasted! They call it “Broasted” chicken because of the way it is pressure fried. Delicious! The sides I had were green beans and mac & cheese, and were both homemade. Also delicious! We drove an hour to get there and it was well worth the trip. Can’t wait to go back!

Wow, what a great place. Good old american food made the right way. A very friendly second generation owner. A beautiful interior that recalls the good old days. We stopped in on a hot day after motorcycling all morning and were treated well, given a history of the town and told about all of the great things happening there, and why we should retire to Clifton Forge. I’m ready!

Good Italian. They had a buffet the night we were there, but we ordered off of the menu. The meatballs were pretty tasty and the sauce was homemade. I’ve eaten Italian in NYC and this place actually stood up to most of those. Kid friendly too.

Was traveling through the area and heard about the chicken and thought I’d give it a try, around 2pm I called in an order over the phone and was told it would be ready in 10 minutes, got there in 10 minutes and it wasn’t ready. Waited another 5-6 minutes and still not ready so I asked for a refund and ended up leaving. There were no other customers in the restaurant, the hostess told me it’s more of a sit down place and that things take a while.. I understand that but you should know how long your orders take to prepare and give the customer a realistic estimate, if it’s going to take you 20-25 mins to make some chicken then tell me that on the phone. Might seem like this is a stupid complaint but some of us have places to go and things to do and don’t appreciate having our time wasted.. just be up front!

Stopped here based on the reviews of the food. Had the dog in the car – right in front of the restaurant (85° day) and we’re told by a very polite young lady employee that we could run the menu out to the passenger in the car, make our pizza decision and pay when we returned the menu and placed our order. 5 minutes later we went back in to place our order. A very rude man abruptly informed us that the restaurant would be closing immediately, he would not take the order and then resumed his conversation with someone leaning on the counter near him. Poor young hostess/waitstaff was mortified. We are local. We will be sure to take our business to one of the many other good restaurants in town. Just a civil apology would have been professional and appropriate.

It’s like stepping back in time in a really good way. Very comfortable family low-key and friendly atmosphere with food that tastes like it used to. If you want fried chicken or ribs or a good old fashioned buffet with a nice little salad bar, you know…. Comfort food at a comfortable place, with friendly people.

Quick, courteous service! We had first gone to the tavern down the street, but after waiting 10 minutes without so much as a greeting, we went to Vic’s instead. Delicious food. Will definitely return

Just so good. We were stopping by from out of town, looking for something to eat and found this gem! Must try the fried chicken and the stromboli! The owner and chef came out to chat and see how everything was. Nice guy.

If you are really hungry then this is the best place to go in Clifton Forge. The best pizza, an excellent soup and salad bar and you got to try the broasted chicken. Really large selection on their menu and I am sure everything must be delicious.
