Great meal – much more than pub food- solid menu with nice specials (Red snapper, pasta carbonara, schnitzel, “real” Caesar salad, gelato as well as “pub” fare and good wine list). Attentive, family style service. Food plating/presentation was done with demonstrable care/style. Some of the best food quality I’ve had in the central/southern VT area. Only very minor negative is that seating area is in a large room also used for events making the atmosphere slightly less inviting and warm than the food/service deserves. Definitely worth a visit (and a return visit) Reservations recommended. ~$70 pp with drinks/apps/entree/dessert/tip/tax

Great place, I took my wife here for our anniversary and was expecting fine dining but it isn’t that anymore. Either way it turned out great, the staff engaged with the customers and were really friendly and it was a really nice place to go for a special night out.

The food was very good. Casual dining experience in a nice setting. The service was lacking. Maybe because the proprietor is the one waiting on you. We were seated by the bartender, but no menus followed. When we asked about menus after our drinks were served, we were told they were on the chalk board in the bar area. So we left our table to determine our choices. The owner took our order, no one ever returned to refill our drinks. We had to get the bartender to get us refills. The food came out, delivered by another waitress but when we asked for condiments forgot to bring some of them back. When I did not leave a tip, after waiting some time for the check, which we had to hunt down, I was confronted by the owner. She came over and asked me by name if I had a problem with the service. I found this offensive and rude. I would not return based on my experience.

I don’t know how I’ve gone so long before dining here, the dishes are amazing. The dining room is lovely, huge and open with a high ceiling that made me feel very comfortable to be in.

Didn’t actually get to eat here and thankful for that. We arrived a little before 5pm hoping to eat early. We were met in the parking lot by a woman who was extremely rude. Her first question “Can I help you?” second was “do you have reservations?” Next comment was “sorry we are full and don’t serve until 5:30.” Followed by “please move your vehicles.” Why would we leave our vehicles there if we aren’t eating there? Never again. Would’ve loved to try it another time if their guard dog greeter wasn’t so rude. Never again

I can’t speak more highly about this place and I’d give it more than 5 stars if I could. The chef, who is also one of the owners, is absolutely phenomenal. His meals are like a work of art, made with great love and pride. He brings standard menu items to new levels by using the best ingredients and adding his own creative twists. Every meal I’ve had has been absolutely fantastic. The Sunday brunch is literally the best brunch I’ve ever had in my life.
