Since 1979, Victor’s Mexican Restaurants have developed a reputation for traditional, flavorful Tex-Mex food, hand-crafted margaritas, and exceptional service.
Victor opened his first location, Victor’s Casa Garcia, in 1979 near the Beltway and I-10. Other locations followed at Hwy 6 and Clay, Fry and Saums, and South Fry near Park Row.
Victor managed his family business from 1979 until 2021, when he retired. Juan Carlos continues his dad’s legacy today, owning and operating locations in Fulsher, TX, and Katy off Grand Parkway and Morton Rd.

The food was decent and so was the price. We ordered the Tijuana and the fish tacos. It was a toss up between the fish and shrimp, next time I’ll order the shrimp. The fishy wasn’t as moist as I’d like and the same goes for the tres leches. More on that in a minute. The tacos come with two corn tortillas, but the waitress said their homemade corn tortillas were really good and they were.

Been waiting like 14 months for this location to open after the Dad’s restaurant in Fry Rd. closed. Just opened 4 days ago. Small space inside a shopping center, so not very large, but still a nice set up. All the food was great and what I was hoping for! Beef enchiladas are just as good as the Dad’s place. Chips and salsa were very good as well. The service was a tad slower than you would like, but wasn’t bad. I think they are lacking in staff right now, which seems to be the norm now days. This is going to be a regular spot for us. So glad they finally opened.

it was our first time here and we had dinner. we had their Wednesday Fajitas special which was the Fajitas combo only consist of beef and chicken for 2 for $24.95. not bad at all, meat was tender good portions etc as well

I was excited to go to the new location since we’re back to visit. We used to go regularly at the Fry Road location and had moved states. New place is nice and all but… What happened to the salsa and margaritas? The new salsa was like a spicy tomato sauce only. Missing the smoky taste and chunks. Margaritas were bland and watered down. We used to go there specifically for that. Sorry for just 2 star on the food. Enjoyed the enchiladas and charro beans at least that hasn’t changed.

Came here for lunch me and my 9 yr old. I ordered a taco salad and it came in a bed of WATER. My taco shells fell apart from all the WATER. My 9yr old quesadillas were perfect. I probably wouldn’t be back here to eat.

We had been going to the original Victor’s on Fry Road for a long time and we always looked forward to Victor welcoming us. He is definitely missed at the new location but the service is OUTSTANDING and the food is just as good, if not better than it was at the previous location. This location will do great and we will continue being regulars with my wife’s Sangria Margarita and my Micheladas. I strongly recommend anyone who hasn’t tried them out to do so for your next lunch or dinner. Thank you to the staff for always being great and attentive!!!
