Vida Taco Bar is a great quick restaurant here in Annapolis! Annapolis, Maryland is a hidden gem of a city, and this restaurant is definitely one of the better options right in the downtown area (if you’re not wanting to get a super expensive bill at a higher-end restaurant…which there are plenty here). If you’re craving good drinks, tapas, creative tacos, and more Mexican fusion food, this is the place to go! We were able to walk right in off the street on a busy day (no reservation needed as people are in and out pretty fast) and we sat right next to their big windows overlooking the street while we ate! It was awesome! We got guacamole and a virgin mojito to start (both excellent, highly recommend), and then got these street tacos: Gringo Taco, Seared Tuna, Chicken Pastor, Thai Basil Shrimp, Chorizo, Carne Asada and Ancho Chicken. All were really good! Maybe not the #1 best tacos we’ve ever had, but none were bad, all were good, and we would definitely have them again. Our favorites were the Gringo Taco, Chorizo and Seared Tuna. However, this seems like one of those places you could get pretty much anything and be pretty happy with your order. Again, not world-renowned top-of-the-line food, but certainly better than a lot of places, and definitely worth trying out. I think you’ll enjoy it!

Great civeche, guacamole, and cutting edge, unconventional tacos. I hate reviews that site the margaritas, but these are awesome. Fresh watermelon or grapefruit..what?! Yea… try ’em.

Tacos were made fresh and quality ingredients, you pay for chips and salsa but like 4 bucks and they bring more- no charge. Wait staff pleasant and helpful food is delicious and not too expensive. 2 margaritas and 4 tacos and chips under $60 with tip

Is a Mexican restaurant really a Mexican restaurant if it doesn’t provide chips and salsa?! Queso tasted like chowder soup. I actually checked the menu twice to make sure we didn’t get the wrong item. . The tacos were good (and big)! My favorite was Thai shrimp – very unique flavor palette. The chicken taco was good, but it was VERY sweet.

Wow what a great drink. Unfortunately I can’t get tacos, WHICH ARE AWESOME, have to get home. Try the watermelon margarita

The tacos were very disappointing. Way too much sauce on every one of them. Scallops were raw, but the Shrimp and Carne Asada were burnt. The Pork Belly was like jerky. It was chewy thin strips of meat. It seems like they have no consistency in the kitchen. It’s sad to say, but you could honestly get better tacos from Taco Bell.

Great service and the tacos were just my size. It’s pretty small in there, but still set up for an intimate dining experience. They had some interesting taco flavors that I’m sure would be fun to try.

It’s a good place to sit and people watch. It’s pretty small though. The tacos were good and filling. 3 did the job for me. Not much else really special about it, but it’s worth checking out for a light lunch.

Solid 3/5 place for mexican/texmex food. their drinks are good and their tacos are good too. Nachos are mostly chips, could have more toppings considering the price. Scallop tacos are good tho! .. Overall, good not great considering the price and actual authentic mexican restaurants exist in Annapolis..

Margaritas are good (especially the Paloma) but a bit watered down. The food is pricey for small portions. If I’m paying $12 for guac it should be a tasty avocado but it was bland. Nice to sit outside on Main Street.
