A nice little Cafe type place that we stopped for lunch on our service route. We both ordered burgers, and it seemed to take a bit longer than most places till we were served. But once the food was delivered, we understood! The burger patties were thick and handmade from fresh burger and were grilled to perfection with a slightly crisp, outer shell, but moist and perfect inside! It’s the best burger I’ve had in quite a while! The fries were a bit disappointing as they were way over fried, almost to the point of being pretzels. But over all, it was good and we’ll be back.

The service is always great. But we got the breakfast buffet for 3 adults and 2 children and it was about 78dollars total. Which I wouldn’t have minded, however most of the buffet was empty and what was there was soo over cooked that it was not tasty at all. Definitely a swing and a miss on that.

Unique menu items and they were totally cool with all my substitutions. Loved the crispy sausage and diced green bell peppers and onions. You want coffee? They give you so many choices of creamers. Great service, but it did take 20 minutes for the food to arrive. Clean atmosphere and bathrooms. They also don’t chastise you for not wearing a mask.

I know that they’re trying to sell and they have been for a while not sure if they’re just not into it or what but the hash browns did not even look attractive and there was a weird taste to them, they were just so Bland no flavor I’m not sure what other restaurants do but maybe they put butter in theirs because that would improve it a bunch. And they were burnt. I do like mine crispy but it wasn’t a nice looking crispy. I think the Hollandaise sauce needed a little bit more flavor. And the coffee needs much much more Improvement. You should find out what Jimmy’s restaurant uses because OMG I’ll just go there for the coffee!

Great waitress!!! Positively loved the ambience. The eggs Benedict was the best I may have ever had. Ham, hash browns, hollandaise, heaven!!!! Bacon side unbelievable!!! Established 1936, according to the vintage sign outside.

This is merely my opinion but I have eaten breakfast in a lot of places in this Country. Viddles and Joe has to be my favorite place to have a great tasting, 100% inviting, best owners (Karen & Scott) restaurant of them all. My family eats here as often as we can. “a bit of advice” don’t sleep in, you will not get a table for hours because of how busy V & J is every day. You will not meet more loving and inviting owners anywhere. Thank you for everything.
