Not a bad place to get a taste for Vietnamese food. I tried the Rice noodle bowl with stir fried tofu and crispy vegan egg roll. Despite being vegan the egg roll was delicious, crispy, flavorful, and stuffed to bursting. I wish there was option just get the egg roll on its own.

We had the noodles rice bowl here. The taste was good but overall it was 3/4th rice noodles and very less veggies and chicken. Also egg rolls didn’t say pork and shrimp explicitly. I don’t eat pork normally so I was not happy about it.

So my Boss sent me a local article for this spot and I was like; “Why has it taken this long for the word to be out?” (7 months) . Usually, Vietnamese community in SJ has the best way to spread news of the newest eatery…I think I know why it hasn’t spread smooth like melted butter. Location. SoFMarket… a newly indoor food eatery with stalls ana booths of food vendors. Similar to San Pedro Square. I’ve been living in NY the past year so it’s comparable to the Chelsea Market but on a much smaller scale.

Vietnoms is located in a shared space with about eight other food and beverage options. We got there before open but they were very accommodating to serve me because they already had some items ready. I had the pork bun (vermecelli) dish and it was terrific! They have water available to you for free refills which I really liked. It’s handicapped accessible.

Food was average at best. Lemongrass pork didn’t have much flavor & came cold. Portion was decent but, nothing great. Seems more like a fast food spot than a real food joint.

I would give this place a 0 star if I could. The food was borderline ok, but the price and attitude of the employees was pretty horrible. I paid 15 dollars for a tiny bowl that didn’t have very much actual meat in it. When I picked it up, the paper container it was in appeared to be haphazardly shoved in the plastic bag and I could even see food spilling out. The employees kind of just threw the box and the bag out without even so much as napkins or utensils and walked away. The employee wasn’t necessarily rude, just didn’t seem to care whatsoever for the customer. Overall, food wasn’t very good, it was very overpriced, and the service sucked.

Fantastic food. It was very fresh and tasty. Great ambiance and the name is brilliant. Totally worth braving a mall (blech) to grab a bite.

Went to Vietnom’s at the SOFA market for a salad with double chicken and everything on it. I arrived back to my office to find that the salad only contained chicken and cabbage. No pickled veggies, cucumbers, or any additional toppings. I asked for no peanuts but everything else. Very disappointed to have spent 20$ on this meal.

Closes 25 minutes early unless you want a salad. If you’re not going to serve the full menu through close, change your hours to reflect that. This way people don’t look forward to eating off of your menu, arrive, and have to be disappointed. 3/23/23
