Madison Shattles
Have become somewhat of a regular at this establishment. Impressively high quality fare and environment. Very nice decor and good vibe. Great food portions. Fair amount of parking in the area, which makes it a fantastic dining experience without the hassle. This is a good place to sit, relax, and enjoy with friends and family. Service is friendly. I would recommend making dining reservations ahead of time, as they tend to be busy.

The only reason I gave a 4 star for atmosphere is that without any sound absorbing features it was maddeningly loud at points. However the beauty of the restaurant, the excellent service & phenomenal food are well worth it! We’re already planning a return. Be sure to make a reservation.

Recommended through group Food Finder Spokane. Never been in this neighborhood before. But once inside your greeted immediately. the ambiance was cute and clean. Daughter and I went prior to her flight. Ordered corn bread, cat fish and jambalaya. Wish we came with more people so we could order more items to taste! Enjoyed the jambalaya, daughter wasn’t big in grits so she worked her way to my dish… Will come again for sure!

Had a wonderful girls’ night at Viex Carre! The dinner was incredibly delicious and bursting with flavors. While not entirely authentic, it definitely carries a New Orleans influence, and it’s the closest you can get in Spokane. The service was always top-notch and speedy. I tried the crab cakes and shrimp with cheesy grits, and they were absolutely delightful.

The most delicious Cajun food ever!! We ordered the crab cakes, catfish, and shrimp & grits. Everything was seasoned beautifully and was amazing. The spice level was perfect for us! The drinks were also top notch. Service was kind and attentive! A great date night before a show!

The wife and I went out to celebrate our anniversary and we found this restaurant that I made a reservation at. Reservations are not required, unless you have a 6 person or larger party. Even without a reservation, they were able to seat people at the bar while we were there.

We had a delicious lunch and our server, Rebecca, was wonderful! Everything was good, but the whipped honey cornbread is a must have. It is almost a desert. Sorry, but took photo after we began eating. The pear salad was special also.

Amazing NOLA style food in a great atmosphere and the popularity shows that. They just are not big enough to support their demand. Interesting recipes you will not find for 50 miles. Worth the expense to explore.
