A surprisingly tasty meal at Sycuan’s Viewpoint restaurant! An enormous club sandwich and side salad with delicious pickled onions for me, and a seriously good burger with steak fries for my husband .

After reading the reviews I was excited to visit Viewpoint Neighborhood Kitchen at Sycuan. Of course, I had to look at the menu prior to arrival. I was set on the calamari, chorizo mussels and bone in pork chop. You know it’s bad when the bread comes out and one of them is hard as a rock. I felt terrible sending it back but c’mon first impression.

The chef on July 8, 2023, needs to go back to culinary school. I ordered shrimp boil without any shrimp at All!!! Got it redone, now it’s missing the grilled bread. Grilled bread was finally served on our table, literally on the table. The server saw it slid off the plate onto the table and just walked away. Offered a complimentary BS and dessert from the manager, I said No. And said it might be served the same way like the grilled bread. No sanitation practices/ knowledge by food servers. My uncle went the same night and ordered the steak. Had it returned because of the smell of the steak. Smelled funky as if it was defrosted. Uncle is a chef so he knows. So the chef on July 8, 2023 really isn’t a chef. Should be a sous chef. Should be making big Mac instead.

Had a great birthday dinner for my mom. Party of 8, we each ordered a different entree.The portions were just right. The fried chicken was the best! Very crispy on the outside and perfectly cooked! We even ordered the different options of desserts! Overall, great experience. shout out to our server Debbie who was very welcoming and extremely attentive! Only reason for not giving 5 stars is, menu options are limited.

Would have given this place a higher star rating had it not been for the dirty cups. My cup had lipstick stains on it, which makes me weary about their cleanliness. Aside from the dirty cup, the food was tasted good.

Great restaurant inside the Sycuan casino – on the main floor back near the nightclub. Unlike many other of the casino restaurants, this is family friendly and guests under 21 are welcome. Prices are reasonable, portions are generous, and service is excellent. We had both dinner and brunch and both meals were delicious. Score a seat on the patio to enjoy the lovely sunsets!

Ah, fine dining! Lovely location with lovely views. Creative menu options. My family LOVES the mac and cheese waffles. It may sound silly, but they’re really tasty! We also got this amazing lemon cheesecake dessert which was phenomenal! Elegant design I think it had a hint of basil in it? Truly unique dessert. A must try! I can’t say enough about their chocolate mousse petit fours either. Edible gold accents. Scrumptious. Staff is always friendly, sophisticated, professional, and gracious. My one suggestion is that if you’re going with a large party, reserve early and not just before closing. It’s an intimate setting. If you want fast food, this is not it. This is a charming experience, and tables are scarce some evenings because it’s a gem!
