Chose to order here tonight instead of our usual place thinking it’d be a nice change. It was a huge disappointment the pizza looked like no effort was put into it at all and was..soggy? The grilled chicken was so burnt.. and we found hair in the pizza (we know didn’t belong to us). Never again.

I went in tonight to order a couple Strombolis. I asked the girl behind the counter what type they were. She said pepperoni and meat Stromboli. She was very annoyed like I was bothering her. I told her I would like 2 of the meat Stromboli. She grabbed foil and took the pizza cutter and cut one all the way through to see what it was. Wrapped them in foil one upside down. Not only was it bad service. But look at the picture of my Stromboli. No meat and all bread. Very disappointed. Go to Dominic’s or Pizza One!

Hunting Pizza for the Pizza Hunters App. Had a Grandma Slice and a Regular Slice. The crust was ok, cheese and sauce average at best. Very little oil added to the grandma. Gerry had the plain slice and was not a fan. Looks like they do a good local business in Sussex County, but would not be a contender for top in NJ.

ABSOLUTELY APPALLED. We have been ordering from Villa for 2 years now (always call and have our order delivered and we order a lot! At least 4-5 times a month!) We called tonight and we were told they were not going to deliver to us because we were 16 mins away. I said we have been ordering for 2 years and this has never been a problem. She also said that our order was too small ($35.00) Which again has never been a problem as we have ordered a lesser amount before. In any case she did not care and was adamant that they were not going to deliver. I guess they do not need the money, or customers because I will never be going there or recommending them again.

Great service. Great tasting food. Portions are a little light. I ordered a veal parm platter. It’s enough to fill you up but some of the pizza places around here give me a big enough portion that I can I have the leftover for lunch the next day, and do it at the around the same price. Still, I don’t want to take away a star because the food is delicious. As for service, I had one experience here where I pocked up food and they forgot part of my order. I called them and they had someone drive over to deliver the forgotten item. I live at least 10 minutes away.

I just tried out Villa Capri Pizzeria in Newton for the first time today. I was so excited walking in to pick up my order I happily greeted the two gentlemen and a young lady behind the counter which did not even acknowledge me. I felt like turning around and walking out but I’m a child of God I don’t do unto others what they do to me. I just feel that’s so unprofessional and disrespectful for a business owner/ workers to treat customers let alone a first time customer in that manner. I Iive 8 minutes from Villa Capri but next time I will definitely take the 20 minute drive to Sparta Pizzeria. At least in Sparta everyone there are friendly courteous greet you as soon as you walk in and the food taste much better.

My husband and I stopped in fir lunch and ordered 2 dinners. The food was so good! I haven’t had such good meals since before covid started. Our waitress was a doll! She was attentive and very sweet. Everything was fresh and the food was made on the spot! We will definitely be back sooner then later!
