I had a wonderful experience at Villa D’Aqua! I discovered the restaurant online and decided to visit on a Sunday for lunch. They offer both valet parking and convenient street parking. The water view added to the ambiance, and I was truly impressed by the delicious chicken scarapelli I ordered. The portion sizes were generous, and the rose wine was delightful. I can’t recommend the coconut sorbet enough for dessert—it was a perfect ending to the meal. The waitstaff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making the experience even better. I’m definitely planning to visit again and appreciate the affordable prices, making it a great spot for a date or business meeting.

Food was very good but portions seemed smaller compared to other local Italian places, drinks were well made and came out promptly. We did ask for a glass of ice 3 times before it actually got to the table.

Went for the first time a few days ago. Party of four all said their dishes were amazing. Finally, fish that doesn’t smell. It was amazingly fresh. The lamb shank was delicious. Prices are more than fair and the service was impeccable.

Had a 7pm reservation for a party of 6. Walked into a crowd of people waiting with no host or hostess in sight. The owner (I’m assuming, older man with white beard) came out, was cocky and rude. Said to the crowd “you’ll all be seated sometime tonight” Finally got seated to a table set for 4. Took 40 mins to get 2 extra place settings and to take our drink orders. Took another 30 to place our orders, No one checked on us the entirety of being there. We found a water pitcher to fill our own water. We did not receive the check until after 9:30. We were all there to celebrate a birthday but had to cancel desert because it was nearing 10pm and we had no idea how much longer this would take. We told the waiter that the service was inexcusable but reassured him we knew it was not his fault. He got the owner, who came over and told us “everyone waits over two hours” and “don’t come back.”

We arrived for 7:00 reservation for 3 and there was a huge crowd of nobody being helped. Finally after 15 minutes we were able to find a host to check in with and she said 10-15 minutes. We said okay and she came back over, sat a table who arrived after us, then told another group 10-15 minutes, and pushed our time up to another 15-20 after 10 minutes had already passed. I asked why our time had gone up after her just helping people who arrived after us, and she told us we could wait for tables to pay or leave if we don’t want to wait. So we left because I wasn’t being sat at 7:45 for a 7:00 reservation by a rude host. I understand being a busy restaurant on a Saturday night, but I work in a restaurant and you have to give priority to those who arrived first, and overall just have a much better system of seating people besides whoever pushes their way to the front or who is most annoying.

The only good thing about this restaurant is outdoor sitting by the water. We got paper menus, which didn’t include drinks. The total for 2 pitchers of sangrias was $125!

Great family owned restaurant that’s been on the waterfront for decades. The owners comes around to greet everyone. The food is superb. Even the chocolate ice cream is special dark chocolate. The coffee is also excellent. My veal was OMG quality. The house salad is nicely presented with a great balsamic dressing. My wife’s chicken soup was especially flavorful without being salty. Nice ambiance. Highly recommended.
