The Gorgonzola pear appetizer was delicious and worth getting and the prawn was good although overcooked. The dessert which is normally my favorite of cream brûlée was significantly thicker than any I’ve ever had and had a strange aftertaste although I’m sure it would be tasty to other people. The atmosphere looked pretty dated and could use a facelift. Waitstaff was polite and nice.

The food here is absolutely amazing! The carbonara is to die for & the lasagna is simply delicious! We did not make reservations but lucked out getting a table. I would definitely recommend making a reservation. Sergio came over & chatted with us for a while & he is just lovely. Highly, highly recommend this restaurant.

I don’t know if my expectations were too high or if my expectations reflected the atmosphere and menus pricing. The atmosphere was spectacular along with the wait staff. My wife loved the bruschetta and i was fond of the shrimp appetizer. Now for the entres. My wife had the salmon with creamy tomato pasta which she found ok. I had the rack of lamb and it was cooked to a perfect medium rare. Then when i tasted it to my dismay i discovered that there was zero and i mean zero flavor. This i found problematic because it is opposite from my dealings with Italian cuisine. This mantra continued with the box tasting flavorless garlic mashed potatoes and the crispy but bland asparagus. We could taste the white wine in the mushroom risotto but there must not have been much room for any other flavors. I don’t believe there was a pinch of salt in the entire restaurant because there definitely wasn’t any accessible to the patrons.

THE BEST Italian in Tulsa. I live in Kansas City but travel to Tulsa frequently for work. Villa Ravenna is a go to for me everytime I’m in town. Delicious authentic Italian with an extensive menu and wine list. Even simple items like their house salad (think fresh tomato, avocado and hearts of palm with home made Italian dressing) are exceptional. And it’s not just the food that’s great,…you can always expect top notch service from their entire staff. You will be taken care of! They have even taken extra measures to ensure a safe dining experience during this time of the pandemic. Hands down one of my favorite places to dine period (and I travel A lot and eat out A LOT for my job)
