My first time at Villa Vito. My brother brought me there for lunch. He knows it well. The food was delicious! We had chicken parmigiana with ziti, salad and garlic bread. It was an awesome meal for a great price! And our waitress was very nice. A real family place! Looking forward to going back and eating on the outside patio next time. So good!

Treat yourself to some excellent authentic Italian cuisine. Villa Vito is the perfect place to stop for a meal with your family or that special someone or even alone when you’re enjoying historic New Hope. Staff is very friendly and the owners are good people with decades of experience.Highly recommend. 5 Stars all around.

I never do this, but people should know. Got fished to try the place by the owner who was at the door luring us in. We were really hungry and this is first place we saw so we decided to go in.

Stopped to refuel after a long ride- beautiful day beautiful breeze, wait staff worked hard. Sat and received our meals in a quick minute. The owners made us feel like family. Spent time sharing the history, family secrets and even gave us free dessert.. They were very hospitable. Stopping for a bite, keeping in mind the location and the expectations….this was a beautiful visit. Food was as expected and the Caesar salad was tops. It was a tough year for restaurants but the owners had endured much more but push onward through the time. Thanks for an entertaining afternoon guys..

My friend, and I had really good brick oven pepperoni slice. It definitely was a NY style pizza taste, and texture. It had the crunch in the crust that I love. They were really cool about us having our own drinks. It was a little mom, and pop shop. I felt like I was at home, even though it was a restaurant. And after we finished eating, we had ambrosia that was on the house. They were very hospitable, friendly, and sweet. I felt like I was visiting family instead of going to a restaurant.

Cute place by the canal. DO NOT BE FOOLED, IT’S A DUMP! The bar looked decrepit, tables were piled with junk and the waitress was literally Mama Fratelli. Rude and unfriendly. She took our order and never brought out my drink (after arguing about it being available. It was on the menu). After 15 minutes of waiting and no drink, no waitress and no bill we threw $20 on the table to cover one drink, water and fries and left. She chased us down yelling that we owed her money. We pointed out that she never served us our drink and she unhappily accepted the money we left. Sad because every other restaurant and bar were packed. They definitely have a gem, but it needs some serious polishing.

I don’t get these negative reviews. My wife & I had dinner with friends here about 6 mo. ago and we all had very good meals. Good, friendly service. Yeah, it’s not the nicest looking dining room, but the food was excellent and the prices are very good.

I was visiting in PA last week and on Saturday May 15th had the misfortune of going to Villa Vito. Three other friends and I sat at the outdoor patio area of the restaurant. It was a beautiful day and New Hope was bustling. We wanted to go to another restaurant but the wait time was 1-12 hours so we thought this place would suffice. Couldn’t have been more wrong. I opted for the Caesar salad. The menu said it was the best in New Hope, but if that’s the case then I feel sorry for New Hope. It wasn’t awful- it just wasn’t good and definitely not worth the price. Neither were the dishes my friends ordered. I can say, however, that if you desire somewhat surly service with a server who tallies the tab on her own but can’t do math for sh*# then this this is the place to go! Be forewarned as I wish I had been and don’t waste your time and money. I’m puzzled that they manage to stay in business.

We came on Memorial Day and chose this restaurant due to a sign saying the restaurant was pet friendly and we had our small dog with us. Didn’t expect much except a casual meal and a cold drink. I ordered the Caesar salad which the menu said was the best in New Hope. I guess they think their lettuce is the best because that was the whole salad – lettuce and dressing. I asked the owner afterwards if there should have been cheese and/ or croutons and he apologized and said he must have forgotten them and he would adjust my bill – which he didn’t. We waited a half hour for the surly waitress to take our order and an hour for the food. Also, most pet friendly restaurants would have offered my dog water – good thing I brought my own because my dog was as ignored as we were. . A restaurant being understaffed is no reason for a waitress to give poor service and the food to be sub par. When I walked inside to use the rest room the entire restaurant looked unkept and I shuddered to think what the kitchen must look like. I would avoid this place.
