The food here was delicious. We came for brunch and they had lots of great options on their menu. Our server was very friendly. We were able to be seated outside and the weather was perfect. We had a great experience here and will definitely be back again.

So this was the second visit there and everything was good until I found a hair in my food I had ordered the steak and got half way through and found a hair that did not belong to me or the person I was with. So I tell the waitress (who was excellent) she went and told the owner and the waitress came back to tell me he would give me half off. I’m sorry but a hair in my food is a comped meal at the least. This was very disappointing. I felt bad for the waitress so I took good care of her but I will not be returning to this restaurant. The owner didn’t even come to talk to us. Shame on him.

First time at Village Bistro. I am a new resident to Milford and working my way around the restaurants. I’m the wife of a chef. My friend was in town and so I decided to treat her to lunch. All the food was delicious. It was fresh too. I had the fish tacos and delicious. She had the mushroom pizza, delicious! The guacamole was so good. So fresh , even the chips. Best lunch ever! The ambiance was so neat and nautical. I loved it. It’s a great place to have a party. I am interested in the cigar room for my husband. We have a lot to celebrate. I was told downstairs was the place to celebrate but online it says the cigar room is available to anyone. I don’t think you’d want to turn away a 5 star chef and his associates. Never assume, but I won’t hold it against the place. I will be back for a dinner celebration. Overall I like the place.

Not impressed whatsoever with the $200+ Easter Brunch for a party of 4. Here is the bill. The brunch was sad, the *edit* beef was all gone before anyone could even enjoy it. “No more beef” Pork was mediocre. Only thing notable was the gnocchi. Servers all over the place, waited 45+ mins for our bill- in that time someone crashed into our parked car outside. That was an experience in itself with the staff being utterly useless. Horrific experience all around, more upset that my family didn’t get to actually have a quality meal they were looking forward to. Do not bother wasting your $ on an establishment that clearly cares so little for its patrons. Oh and they bill “large party gratuity” for a party of 4?? Do better Village Bistro.

A hidden gem. The happy hour is an amazing deal. Food ia fresh and well made. The staff is excellent. Nick and Tatyana at the bar make great drinks and create a great experience. The guacamole is excellent. The bar is 1920s solid wood ans so beautiful. Love this place, the food and the staff.

Incredibly poor/slow service- This restaurant has plenty of potential considering the location and outdoor patio. Happy hour is only available at the bar inside (completely empty). The food is somewhat underwhelming- I’m seeing the owner reply “thank you” to many of these reviews so expecting the same feedback

My best friend and I came out to celebrate our birthdays with our husbands! Both couples ordered the tomahawk Ribeye and it didn’t disappoint! Fantastic! Delicious wine and an amazing band made the night! A little pricey but well worth it!
