From the parking lot I didn’t expect much, but I was pleasantly surprised when we walked through the door. I have since described eating here as going to a friend’s house for lunch. The food is southern all the way, and delicious. My favorite was the fried chicken & whole boiled okra. Even the salad was awesome though! The staff made us feel right at home. I’m looking forward to going again.

The selection was large to say the least. I could not get over it! I only made one trip but I loaded up my plate. I ate every bite. The meat and vegetable selection will tempt any palate. The salad bar was fresh and crisp with plenty of items to make it interesting too. The fruit was pretty as were the deserts. I had to have some of an old southern classic, banana pudding of course! Yum! The wait staff kept the beverage you were drinking full. We didn’t have to wait because we made a bee line there before the church crowd flooded in. Yay! Check it out Village Buffett when you want a satisfying meal that won’t break the bank.

Well I don’t know if I should start with the friendly staff or the cozy settings inside the place but I know one thing for sure is that if you don’t do nothing else while you’re in Whiteville you must try the food at village buffet I tell you It has been a while since I have sat down and got my belly full but I did today and the price is great my family of 8 ate there today for under 65$ not bad I say.

I think the Village Buffet is an overlooked restaurant in the Whiteville area. The food is plentiful, hot & flavorful. Unlike some buffets, the entrees are not dry or overcooked. Check it out & enjoy a cook home style meal.

I personally can say that the food wasn’t that good when The owners youngest son was cooking . Jimmy Parker Sr has recently retired and sold the Family-friendly to Jimmy Parker jr and his wife. I can honestly say that the food speaks for its self and at a reasonable price . Customer service is great as well . With that being said I hope everyone can eat there to if only once. Lets see some reveiws.

We stopped this week on the way home from the beach. The food was excellent and the price ($7.29) was good. However, we were charged $1.75 each for waters at the end of the meal — something we should have asked before we sat down.

IT’S NOT A BUFFET ANYMORE. YOU CANNOT GO THRU THE LINE ANYMORE AND GET ANOTHER SERVING WITHOUT PAYING AGAIN. THEY SERVE YOU WHICH IS FINE, YOU ARE LIMITED ON WHAT YOU ARE SERVED. THE FOOD WAS NOT TASTY. BEEN USING PARKER OWNED RESTAURANTS FOR THE LAST 40 YEARS. THIS EXPERIENCE WAS TERRIBLE.
