Amazing. The best peach cobbler I’ve had …ever! And the beef, fried okra, rolls; delicious. Or as my bf says “it was fire”. My family loves this place and now it will be a must go for me when I visit. Best service too! However, the Mac and cheese… hmm. What self respecting southerner has soupy, bland mac and cheese? No place is perfect so will give 5 stars on the account everything else was great.

Nice concept with the buffet style food. They had a lot of choices to choose from and it was a reasonable price. Way lower than what I expected. The customer service was great they came to your table and asked how you were and helped when needed. The food on the other hand was not as hot as it could have been. The Mac and cheese tasted like the kind you get from kfc and the chicken was bland. It was a nice portion and the gravy was the star. The gravy was really good. However it just didn’t land with the chicken. I would like to come back to try the fish and other entrees.

We are staying at a campground about 15 minutes from this place and after setting up it was suggested to eat here. It is pretty easy to find and located in almost a downtown area. It is set up just as you would think a carefteria would be. After you get your tray you get to choose your food and desert. We had chicken vegetables and cube steak. We also got strawberry cake. The price was really good for all that we good and the food was great. It is your meat and three country style restaurant. The staff were all super nice and helpful. It was very typical of country restaurant. The restaurant had wood walls and ceiling which added to the look of it. It was cute, tasty, friendly and a great opportunity to visit a local mom and pop place. Would definitely go back. The menu options change each day so we are sure we will back to try some more food.

My first visit to this restaurant. It was very delicious. The atmosphere was laid back. The food was served buffet style with staff behind the counter filling your plate. Everyone seemed friendly and it was very busy. Apparently a good place to eat, and I totally agree!!

Very much a southern comfort food kind of place. It’s exactly what I expect from southern home cooking. I wish they dished out larger portions for me but I was quite full at the end anyway! Good mac and cheese as well as good fried okra. The atmosphere is great! Seems like a homefolks kind of place in a good way. If you’re not from around the south and you want a “southern experience” I recommend it… Lots of people in real tree gear and boots and stuff.

I really enjoy this place for the most part. I, like many other people, have high blood pressure. Everything here is over salted. I had chicken and dressing today. The gravy had so much salt that is all you could taste. I’ve complained about other dishes before. Last visit for me. Plus the owner can be abrasive to put it nicely. I can’t believe she keeps employees.
