Village Diner is a staple in the Saugerties area. You won’t find anything better! The atmosphere is so relaxing and chill. The Hungry Man Breakfast is my favorite and rather phenomenal! The food is extremely well prepared and provided in a timely manner. The staff is super attentive and friendly. Tables and restaurant are always clean. Plenty of parking and seating available.

The Hungry Man Breakfast was amazing and the portion size was perfect. My waitress could have been more attentive to refilling drinks and making sure my food tasted good. I will definitely stop here again

I find it hard to critique some establishments because I come with a preconceived notion of what they will be like. Village Diner exceeded my expectations. I gave it three stars because the food was just ordinary in flavor, quality, and presentation. The menu was huge, and my mother in law really wanted a quesadaia, but we could not find one in the dozen page menu. So, my mother in law simply asked, and they severed her an amazing looking and reasonable tasting quesadaia. The prices we very good. My zeti parm came with Brussel sprouts, a salad, and pie and was only $13. This is a nice quaint place that exceeded my expectations but I most likely will not return, unless my mother in law requests this place because if I am going to go out to eat, I want something more than ordinary.

The Steak and Eggs Guy
Great friendly service! The steak and eggs are worth a try! The steak was cooked exactly as I asked, it had good flavor and there was no tough parts only tender flavorful steak in every bite! It comes with two eggs any way you like it, choice of toast and a side of home fry’s. If I lived local, this would be a regular spot for me!

Nice little diner just off the main strip serving a variety of diner type foods with their own flare. The atmosphere takes is that idealic diner vibe and overall everyone was nice..I took off a star bc of my server…i was talking on my Bluetooth and during the whole ordering process I felt rushed and the diner had nobody in there. That was my only issue. A diner vibe should NEVER be rushed, that’s why it’s a diner ♂️

My husband ate here as a little boy before they moved away. We decided to visit while driving through. We split a Buffalo chicken wrap that was excellent. The creme of tomato soup was killer. Tapioca pudding for dessert. Servers were cheeky! We loved it!!!

Stopped by for a quick breakfast, was not disappointed with the food and price.Perfect quantity and fresh ingredients. The service was okay , the waitress didn’t check back on us to see if we needed anything else. Other than that I think it’s a decent diner.

Not a truly old school diner but a nice feel, clean and tidy. Menu choices were expansive. Great daily specials. Server was a bit matter of fact, not hospitable, just ding her job.
