My first time here. The decor is nice, food was great! I think this location recently opened this year. Another restaurant recently closed and VI opened. The “regulars” from the former restaurant want to compare it to VI on other review sites. I say go in and give them a try for your own experience.

Stopped by with friends for lunch about 11:30 on a Thursday. Place was busy but we were seated right away in a booth. Our server Carolina brought menus and took our drink order. I was cautious because I figured there would be a huge display case full of tempting pies. Thankfully the display case was behind the counter. Tough being on a diet.

I think I have transcended into breakfast heaven. I couldn’t wait to dive one. This picture is missing the eggs and potatoes I already ate. Humongous portions and delicious. Placed an order for delivery, did not know there was a village inn in Oldsmar. Strawberry cheesecake crepes, delish. Bacon and country potatoes, different store. Not sure why anyone would feel comfortable even boxing this up. I’ll continue my visit to Hillsborough and Tampa.

The Village Inn on Tampa Road (until recently known as Daddy’s) has given us three consistently good eating our experienced over the past couple of months, each time for breakfast. Our servers have been great. The food was generous in portion and came out hot and timely. We enjoyed the crepes as well as traditional breakfast offerings. We also were there on a Friday for the hand battered fish and chips, another super consistent meal. Keep it up Village Inn, we’ll be back.

We’re so excited we now have an Oldsmar location! Our first experience here was wonderful and we left saying to each other how pleasantly surprised we were. The interior is gorgeous and clean, the staff was very friendly and accommodating with many stopping by our table to say hello to our baby which was nice. Our server Kelly was very friendly and worked hard to make sure we were happy. The food was good, the coffee was great and the prices were reasonable. We will definitely be back!

The Village Inn replaced our comfy go to eatery Daddy’s Grill. Thankful with change in ownership they updated the booths and benches which were worn down. The restaurant offers a wide variety of meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We have been a few times now and it is nice. My reason for the average rating was my BLT Sandwich needed crispier bacon and confusion with server. It is is still a nice comfy restaurant where you get good food, casual atmosphere and can chat/relax.
