Ordered 2 Chicago Style deep dish pizzas today for lunch for my employees. Got them and they weren’t thick at all. About as thick as a standard Dominos crust. It had a lot of toppings on it but not anywhere near a thick crust. Called the restaurant and was told “Welp, that’s our Chicago style. Rolled those myself. That’s how they come.”. OK, cool. No worries. Won’t be returning here anymore. Judge for yourself by the pictures. I also want to state that we have ordered the Chicago style before (about a year and a half ago) and it was much thicker beforehand. Oh well. Lesson learned.

Polite staff, tasty ingredients, excellent pizza. I have some food sensitivities now but thankfully Village Inn Pizza offers alternatives so I can still enjoy a pizza treat once in a while. They are very careful and I’ve never had any issues with what I’ve eaten from here.

This place is awesome! GREAT people working here and the same GREAT Village Inn Pizza you’ve come to expect from surrounding areas but the Mocksville location is much cleaner and they work hard to keep it that way as well as keeping the buffet full even during the rush. Anyone giving poor ratings has obviously never been to a Village Inn before! I haven’t gone back to Marco’s (the only other pizza place in town) since VI opened their doors.

I use to love coming here but the staff have recently turned very negative. There is rarely any pizza on the buffet in the afternoon and if you request something it seems like a burden. They asked my son why he wasn’t wearing a mask and he has a medical condition that exempts him. They then asked what his medical condition was, which I’m pretty sure is against the law. They also told my boys they were being too loud(a 7, 3 & 1 year old). I’m sorry sometimes little boys get loud but if there is a problem you should tell me not come yell at them. I am sorry that there was one other person in the restaurant while we were there that may have been bothered by their noise. They wouldn’t have been so loud if they didn’t have to wait for there to be pizza on the buffet. I have been there and seen kids running and screaming and nothing was said with a full restaurant. If there is a problem there is a right way and a wrong way to handle it. Every time Village Inn Pizzas staff seems to handle it wrong. Yes my boys were being loud but they just wanted pizza and they had been waiting 15 minutes. The food is good but the bad attitude of the staff will keep me from going back. If you have children I would recommend avoiding just in case your child is the next target of their frustration.

Twice I’ve been here and the food is always fresh and awesome!!! Not only that, the staff are all so very friendly. I’m handicap at the moment from having surgery and the staff were so great tonight that they even brought me a plate of pizza so I didn’t have to get up again. Never in my life have I ever had a staff member be that wonderful to me. This is the place to go to enjoy a nice family night out!! Thank you to the whole staff for being so friendly!!

Best buffet around. Always get pizza out fast with a big selection. Big salad bar, been here many times and have never had bad food. Employees always welcoming. Definitely recommend.

Went in on a Saturday. Paid 20 bucks at 2pm for buffet an water for two people. You go in an pay for a buffet an drink. There are no waitresses. They offer a salad bar and a pizza buffet. So there is no menu or ordering a fresh pizza that i seen. Pizza was all thin crust. Salad bar was adequate. They offer a little pasta, bread sticks, an soup. They have around 8 pizzas on the buffet that are all very similar. I honestly didn’t find it worth the cost. If you like eating a ton then this is the place. I just don’t find spending that much on very mediocre pizza that great of a deal. I would rather spend the same amount at a pizza hut for a fresh pan for the same cost. Its pretty much the same as brick oven or ci cis but less choices with the same cost. Staff was very friendly.

The pizza tasted like cardboard… the bread sticks are hard there was no marinara out so we asked n they said it would be could n thats fine but it wasn’t good either.. hardly any sauce on the pizza at all… and the whole time we hard to listen to the cashier talking loudly through the little window about who knows what we tried to not pay attention… the soup was good though

First, very friendly people. But…I hate but’s yet to be honest, the pizza was not good. It reminded me of school cafeteria pizza. I tried three kinds-they all tasted basically same. The man kept reminding everyone to try the homemade soup but I did not. The pasta sauce was okay. I gave it 2 stars due to the friendliness, which was great.
