I thoroughly enjoyed both the cuisine and ambiance at this restaurant. Despite its growth, the establishment continues to uphold its ties with the Point Pleasant community. The service was truly exceptional! During a long drive from Iowa to North Carolina, I decided to stop by and was warmly welcomed by Kaylee, who made me feel at home not only at Village Pizza Inn but also in the town of Point Pleasant. I was eager to try their renowned Mothman pizza, but as a solo diner, a 16-inch pizza seemed too much. Thankfully, Kaylee and the team at Village Pizza Inn were more than willing to accommodate my needs. Although I have no immediate plans to return to Point Pleasant, Village Pizza Inn has become a must-visit destination whenever my work journeys take me through West Virginia.

I’ve never waited so long at a restaurant before. Long wait to get drinks, even longer to order food, long to receive food. 2 girls were running around doing everything while a few others weren’t doing much. They definitely need to figure out a new system. Also the bathroom was disgusting. But when we finally got our food it was delicious. Also the table was really cool to look at.

I came here all the way from Michigan because of a show I watched that featured this place. Pizza was amazing and the service and atmosphere were also on point. A nice stop on a long road trip. Definitely worth it. Btw order the mothman special, very tasty.

Pizza was pretty damn good, that’s coming from a NJ native. Friendly staff. Two reasons I chose to eat there: 1 it was the only stand out pizza spot from the half dozen boring chain pizza spots and 2: the Mothman pizza. I loved that they catered to the local legend and cryptid tourists. And those Mothman eyeballs were SPICY.

What a wonderful pizza place!! We drive over from Teays Valley (38 miles, 47-minute drive) every so often. EVERY single time we have received EXCELLENT pizza and PHENOMENAL service!!! The atmosphere is always pleasant and friendly. The restaurant itself has a ton of room and is clean, cute, and welcoming. We absolutely LOVE it at the Village Pizza Inn!! Five BIG stars all the way around!

Food is always so good here. We generally get pizza, wings, and salad. Salads are so fresh. Wings and pizza are hot and of good quality. Our service has always been fine also. They do get busy and you may wait a bit for food but its worth it

We were a party of 6. There were only 2 other tables seated when we got there. One person at our table got her taco salad about 20 minutes after we ordered. She wanted to wait until everyone else got their food before she ate. But it was at least another 10 minutes before another person got their small pizza. Everyone’s order was coming out in 10 to 15-minute increments. One person got the wrong Pizza. The orders that had fries came without the fries. Fries (the easiest and quickest item to prepare) came out last. We were there for an hour before everyone got their food. Everyone was upset but not complaining. I kept saying they must only have one person in the kitchen only able to make one thing at a time. But when we were leaving, we saw at least 6 employees in the back. No one in the kitchen was wearing hair nets, beard nets or gloves and there was a hair in the taco salad.

We received a recommendation from the folks at Lowe’s Hotel and were not disappointed. Everything we had was very tasty, hot and freshly prepared. I had chicken parm and my wife had pepperoni rolls. The chicken parm was done just right with a very large portion. Great flavor and just the right amount of spice. My wife said her pepperoni rolls were perfect. Homemade all the way. Overshadowing the superb taste was the service. Our waitress was so nice, friendly and warm. Even the people who didn’t wait on us were super pleasant and inviting. A definite must.

Was really cool to visit this place after watching Ryan and Shane visit here in Buzzfeed Unsolved: Supernatural. The place looks different now. It’s much nicer and updated. I got the famed Mothman Pizza and it was adorable and a real treat honestly. Felt like a very special experience. Unfortunately, my waitress seemed unenthused. Looked like she was busy with most of the other tables in the restaurant, but it soured my experience a bit that she wasn’t attentive or friendly. However, a young girl behind the counter was very warm and pleasant. She often came by my table to chat and it made me feel very welcomed ❤️ I hate that I didn’t get her name, but she was only like 16 and getting ready to go to college? Thank you for being kind and making my day ❤️
