I always order takeout because the atmosphere isn’t too noteworthy, but the food is amazing. My favorite New York slice in the area (very similar to IP3). Try the Florentine pizza or the eggplant ziti pizza, they’re incredible and unique!

Best NY style pizza-by-the-slice joint in Chatham county and one of the best in the entire chapel hill Carrboro area tbh. It’s family owned since forever, reasonably $$, and everyone is super friendly. Best meatball subs and philly cheese steaks. Chicken parm is excellent and the plain cheese and pizza Florentine are just amazing and simply executed. Even onion rings and fries are good. Best salads I ever had at a pizza joint. Never have a bad thing to say about Village P&P.

Service from cashier was good, the stars are solely for her, but the cook up front seemed unpleasant. My veggie sub is cold bread, cheese, lettuce, tomato, and onion (asked for no onion) doused in olive oil. I don’t even want to eat it. I work in the food industry and would never serve this to someone. This lack of quality/care is so common. Very disappointed

I’ve been going to Village Pizza for 15 years….and I tell you, the service and food has been top notch “everytime” I visit….the staff is like family…you can tell they are well taken care of and love working there. The place is always spotless!
