We ordered Cheese Curds, Patty Melt Burger and Calzone pizza. Patty Melt and Calzone tastes average. Cheese Curds taste below average. The server talked with an attitude all the time. Gave response to our question on her way back to the kitchen. Never planning to go back to this restaurant as the overall experience was not positive.

Excellent food!! Hands down the best clam chowder I have ever had. I got the fisherman’s platter and it was excellent; the cod, scallops, and especially the walleye and shrimp were delicious.

Always great service and friendly staff. Good is always very good! The pizza is delicious and one of my favorite sandwiches is the Rachel. Also the fish fry on Friday night is fabulous! I would definitely recommend you so in. It’s a hometown gem!

Us 4 sisters went for Birthday lunch. Waitress was Best! She was kind, polite, funny, well versed with menu, can’t say enough about her. Good was wonderful. Restaurant was clean. 100% Great experience!!

We ordered garlic cheese bread with sauce and a bacon cheeseburger pizza. The cheese bread could have been toasted longer and the portion was small for the price. The dipping sauce did have a good flavor. The bacon cheeseburger pizza was just ok….the sauce could have been more flavorful. It seemed like the tables were getting old as the dining surface was very worn on a few of the tables near us. The staff was friendly and prompt.

My wife and eat here once a week at minimum. Normally the staff, service and food are outstanding. Not the case tonight. We hadn’t eaten all day do to being extremely busy. Rushed to get to Village to grab a bite, walked in at 8:50 ( Thought they closed at 9:30 according to web site) sign on door said closing at 9. Didn’t think it was a problem being we were getting there before 9 and would have been happy to take it to go. Didn’t get that chance. Waitress saw us, yelled back at the kitchen and asked what time it was. Then looked at us sharply and sternly stated “kitchen is closed”. I didn’t give her an issue, just said ok and we left.

Very large and open place, so if you don’t like crowds it may not be for you. But the crowds are there for a reason: the food is immaculate. Don’t let the Pizzeria name fool you; pizza is only one small part of their massive menu, and from what I can tell, everything else is cooked perfectly, too.

The pizza we got was definitely overcooked/burnt, so it was hard to discern any flavors other than the blackened crust. Also, the cheese-to-toppings ratio was off. While it’s hard to find a bigger fan of cheese than myself, I must say that the amount of cheese was a bit much, so it felt somewhat greasy. That, combined with the burnt crust, made it rather difficult to enjoy the toppings.

I hate to say it but what the heck. The pizza here used to be amazing. Now I have a piece and throw the rest away. Put some spices in the sauce. Bring back the old recipe maybe. 2 stars is being nice on the quality of pizza we just had.
