Pretty good pizza, friendly staff, really good prices! wouldn’t mind going back and grabbing a slice if I was in that area again. It was ok. Did the job!

Happened to be in the area so stopped by for a fresh slice. Tiny spot, but it’s quick, convenient, and hits the spot if you’re in the mood for a slice and a beer. Fresh ingredients.

I have passed by this place a thousand times and finally I could resist the smells wafting from the kitchen no more. Let me say I was not disappointed. I ordered a cheese pizza and a pepperoni with sausage and mushroom. The wait was a bit long at 45 minutes, but the chef was busy the entire time. This place is tiny, inside feels like a beer bar with only bar seating, but there are a few picnic tables outside. The cheese pizza was great. The crust was flavorful with the right amount of chew, the sauce was super savory and seasoned nicely and the cheese was high quality. The pepperoni pizza was equally impressive. All the ingredients were fresh and high quality and made to order. I can hardly wait to sample the rest of the menu. The menu is small, but I would rather see a small menu executed well than a voluminous menu executed poorly.

I’ve been coming here every Thursday for about two years. Sometimes twice a week. The pizza is absolutely fantastic. Unfortunately, the prices for a slice and a pint have gone from a flat 6.50 to 10 plus extra depending on the beer? We got 5 slices and 6 beers for 70 bucks plus tip this time. I love my slice and a pint more than most but a 53% increase is probably too much. We will need to think about our Thursday nights. Maybe just a pizza to go once In a while.

The food was really good and extremely fresh, but you can clearly tell they prioritize friends

One of the best pizzas in Long Beach if not Southern Cali…Comparable to NYC pizza, Village Road offers thin crust, hand shredded mozzarella and fresh ingredients that rivals pizzas made in Brooklyn or Central Jersey. Definitely a must try if you’re in the LBC!

The Village Roll was fantastic (similar to a meatball calzone). Highly recommended.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating, the service is fast and attentive, and the food was of good quality, well prepared and delicious. There is not a lot of seating inside the restaurant but that didn’t seem to matter to the other customers who stood at the bar and ate their lunch. We will go back again, frequently.
