I noticed Sebastian has a lot of little hidden gems and we found one of them last night. It’s not a huge menu, but there is some thing for everybody. Food was delicious, nice and hot when it came out and fresh. Portions aren’t big, but it definitely fills you up we were stuffed when we left and I choose quality over quantity. The place is small, but cozy and comfy with a lot on the walls to look at. Comfort food at its finest. We will be definitely going back.

In town looking for a local spot for food and drinks. We hit the jackpot. We had drinks, a few appetizers and some sandwiches. Could not be more happy with Village Tavern. The owner came over and could not have been more accommodating. Had a great conversation with Nancy and will definitely be back when in Sebastian.

Tiny place, but very nice. Great homemade daily soups from scratch. We had shrimp pasta soup and it was excellent. A friend had cheese pear another time and said it was outstanding.

Service is good. Food is made in back galley type area. It’s for a lot of regulars and children are welcomed. Wine, beer but no liquor drinks is fine with me. Parking is usually great. The tavern is little so you may want to ask for outdoor seating. It is in a little area in Sebastian that surrounds a big, pretty pond or tiny lake? WC accessible.. they are nice people!

I have eaten there before and got the chef salad. I knew they were out of eggs for it. The salad was basically all white ends of lettuce and only 3 small bits of tomatoes. Usually, it’s very fresh, green and loaded with tomatoes. Probably not going back. Consistency is key.

I only had one pasta dish and the meatballs. They were good. The beer was cold. The place seems a bit off somehow, can’t quite place why. Perhaps because we were not regulars. Nonetheless I didn’t feel unwelcome, and will probably go back.

Great little tavern, homey feel. Customer service was wonderful (Kenny) and someone takes pride in what they serve; food was delicious. Had the famous onion soup and chicken salad on rye.

This place was an awesome down home everyone knows everyone kinda a place. Didn’t eat but many locals came in and ordered to go and had a beer or glass of wine while waiting. Bartenders and owner very friendly.
