I was looking for a place for buffalo chicken, I took a suggestion from “the” app, and the buffalo chicken was okay. What impressed me was the pizza! It was a whole order of buffalo chicken onto a pie with other delicious sauces and ingredients. It is the pizza place you cannot forget. Just skip appetizers and go for a pie that says appetizers in repeat. You’ll have it all in a pie.

I have been going to this place for 12 years and it is the best pizza around. Amazing food for good price and have honestly nothing to say about this place that is bad. All 1 star reviews from this place should not be listened to. If you are thinking of trying it do yourself a favor and go!

I came here a few months back for pizza. As I’m ordering my food, I made small talk with the new kid working behind the counter. I sit down to wait for my order and I see a young man with a service dog come in. As he’s putting in his order, the older guy working there (someone who I’ve seen there for years) tells this man to go wait outside for his pizza. The man with the dog starts to explain that he has a health condition and he’s allowed to bring a service dog in with him. Keep in mind that this is a warm month, the door to the restaurant is wide open and the place has a handful of people in it, so it’s not as if the dog will be a huge bother. I see this older guy arguing with this young man, going back and forth about how he should wait outside. And then this happens, which is just so disgusting. The young kid behind the counter tries to remedy the situation and offers the man with the dog a seat closest to the counter, and I turn and see the other seasoned worker making this face to him like, don’t even bother. Disgusted by all of this unfolding in front of me, I get up to use the bathroom. When I come back, the guy with the dog is sitting next to my seat, all the way in the back against the wall. When I engage with him and ask about his dog, he apologizes and gets up to move. I tell him he’s fine where he is and I just want to talk to him. At this point I feel so bad for the guy because he clearly feels completely unwelcome in this place. We chat, he tells me has a form of narcolepsy which is why he has a service dog, and he tells me he often has to deal with people treating him this way. After all of this happened, I vowed to never come back here again. I’ve been coming here for years, always loved the food, was friends with Edwin, so to see someone working here, a seasoned worker, who is so arrogant, so unemphatic and so discriminatory, while a 19 year old kid (!!!) working the counter has the maturity and compassion to try and do right by this young man (and still get shot down for his efforts) was beyond repugnant.

First time visiting today and wow did they impress! Thankfully, the place was not too crowded and the owners/staff were pleasant to interact with. We ordered the white pizza and chicken marsala house entree that came with Caesar salad and pasta.

Hands down one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had! I got the meatlovers and it was just full of flavor. The person who checked on me called me by my name when talking to me, which is pretty rare. They have a chicken parm pizza that I’m dying to try!

The wings are just, wow…they’re simply succulent with the right amount of crunch. The house meatballs are pretty amazing as well!

This was our first time visiting the Village Trattoria and it’s been upsetting.

Scouting for the Pizza Hunters App, I arrived when they opened and was greeted with multiple Pizzas on display and ready to go. Parking can be tricky, so just use the parking lot and walk over a block to get to the Pizzeria. Had the Margherita Slice and it was excellent. Great blend of Cheese, Sauce and Crust. I even liked the Pizza Bag that they put the To Go Slices In. Attention to Detail. I will go back for Sure.

We used Village Trattoria to cater a lunch/afternoon gathering for around 60 people. We ordered full trays of eggplant parmigiana (very good), penne alla vodka (very good), chicken Marsala (very good), chicken fingers (very good—and popular), Greek salad (fine), and grilled vegetables (skippable). Overall they were great. The food was hot, ample (full trays are big!), and ready at the promised hour. We ordered too much; in hindsight, we could have gotten maybe 4 instead of 6 full trays for 60 people. They will provide sterno or heating cans upon request for a small extra charge. If you pay cash, you can get a discount. We will definitely use them for catering in the future!
