I’ve been wanting to try this place ever since it was on the One Bite everybody knows the rules posting with an 8.3 rating by Dave Portnoy. I went with knowing if he gave us something over an 8 it’s worth the drive. Today I went, and indeed it is worth the drive. The pizza is edge to edge cheese cooked, well done without having to ask for it that way. The sauce has a great flavor with a subtly sweet undertone. Fresh ingredients and great tasting. The pizza is so light and thin. A very hungry person could eat the whole pie themselves. You’d be very full afterwards, but could be done. If you lived in the area, this would be your neighborhood pizza. I know.

Scouting for the Pizza Hunters App, Vinnie’s Pan Pizza was highlight recommended. The customer service was excellent and I had a great conversation about Pizza with Senior. This is a niche Pizzeria that has mastered the Pan Pizza. I basically ate the entire Pizza on the car ride home. So would be a 5 Pie Ya Pizza for me. Great job Vinnies, looking forward to see how you do in the 2022 NJ Tournament of Pizza. See you soon.

We loved Vinnie’s when it was just a small Italian joint with amazing pasta dishes. High quality food, but a bit pricy. So it was always a place we would go too on some special occasions. Since the pandemic Vinnie’s reopened as pretty much a take out pizza joint. Don’t get me wrong, the pizza was really good. Just the way we like it. Thin, crispy, crunchy & well done. But the $18 dollar price tag seems just a bit much for a whole pie. It comes extremely close in taste to Ralph’s Pizza in Nutley, my home town, and also Joe’s Famous Pizza in Union. We will be going back once in a while for some of the amazing tasting pasta dishes they still make. Why you ask me? Besides how good the food is, the owners and staff are just so down to earth, pleasant to talk with and they give you that comfortable dinning experience you crave. Parking can be a challenge, but that shouldn’t stop you from trying Vinnie’s out. We highly recommend Vinnie’s anytime! Enjoy!!

Vinnies Pan Pizza is a place I highly recommend. Plain pies are amazing, it’s always my go to when I have some friends or family over. Sandwiches are also very fresh and good I usually get the chicken parm. Jay who manages the place is a great guy and friendly to all. Always a pleasure going here and will always return. This is a place you won’t forget about.

One of the best pizzas we have ever had! Thin, crispy and the perfect amount of toppings. The eggplant parm was sliced thin and perfect. The meatballs were big and tender and Caesar salad was crisp and not over dressed. We had an amazing experience. The staff including the owner were so friendly and welcoming, we can not wait to go back!

Been driving past here for months and decided to try for the first time today. Absolutely AMAZING food. Pizza is thin and crispy and flavorful and the Rigatoni Vodka was the best I’ve ever had. Will definitely be ordering from here more often.
