Always delicious. Went for lunch but have also been for dinner. One of our favorite restaurants. Got a bottle of wine and then the octopus for an appetizer. I got the chicken scallopine which was delicious. Dad got the shrimp and scallop orzo because that’s his favorite. We’ve tried just about everything on their menu and have not been disappointed with anything so far. For dessert we got the crème brûlée napoleon which was an interesting take on crème brûlée. Not too crowded. Pleasant noise level to enjoy a bottle of wine with our meal. Forgot to take a picture of the octopus before we cut it up. But that is always consistently the best at Vinny’s.

Was really hoping for so much more. Sadly, I shall NOT be back and here is why: We arrived 5 min before our Reservation time and stood at the front area for a few minutes before anybody even knowledge us. He asked if we had a reservation which we told him we did but he couldn’t find us. Thank goddess we were literally the third couple in there since they opened 30 min ago. We were shown to a table where we were greeted by our waitress who was very sweet and attentive.

Forgot to take a picture of my food, but I ordered the new Salmon+Snapper pasta and it was delicious! Ordered the bread service. There is a particular bread with crumbs on top… it was amazing! Definitely enjoyed my visit.

We used to be regulars at Vinny’s years ago but for some reason (probably because many other good restaurants sprung up in Alpharetta closer to us) we hadn’t been there for a long time. We’ve now visited Vinny’s several times in the past month and we are regulars again. Great menu, excellent service, outstanding selection of wines (especially Italian wines), nice rotation of the menu, and careful preparation of all dishes. My wife and I grew up in New York and we are picky about Italian food – Vinny’s is our local favorite. It’s wonderful to have a restaurant that has been around as long as this one continue to maintain its high quality.
