A really nice local steakhouse here in St. James. Made reservations as this place fills out fast any day of the week. A very nice clean, comfortable, atmosphere. They have a great wine selection and ordered a bottle for the table. We ordered the Yellowfin Tuna and crabcakes as our appetizers. Very nice. My wife chose the T-Bone and I chose the Cowboy rib steak. Both were cooked to perfection. Our sides were roasted vegetables and asparagus Parmigiano. Excellent. Our server was Mario and he was very professional throughout our stay. He brought us complimentary cheesecake as it was our Anniversary. Afterwards we stopped by the bar area for a nightcap. Only reason for four stars and not five was their choice in dinner music. VERY loud grunge type music not expected in a upscale steakhouse. We will be back !!

Great meal overall. My girlfriend and I split the the Porterhouse steak which is intended for 2 to share. It had a great flavor particularly with the seared crust and it comes out sizzling on a hot plate. Our group also shared Lobster Mac & cheese along with creamed spinach. The wait staff was friendly and attentive.

Delicious steak dinner! Make a reservation if you want to come here, outside and indoor seating, social distancing in place. Outdoor was a heated tent.. We arrived for our reservation and seated immediately as we requested indoor when making reservations. Great atmosphere, fire place in dining room, waiter was super nice, food, drinks and dessert top notch, worth every penny. French onion soup one of the best I’ve ever had! The sides served plentiful enough for 2 or 3 people. Staff friendly, Definitely recommend this restaurant!

Wow! Thank you to my incredible husband for making a reservation at Vintage! We celebrated our Valentine’s Day a few days early to beat the crowd. The food was top notch and the service was incredible. I can’t believe I waited so long before trying this steakhouse.

Vintage is a true American Steakhouse. What does this mean? The ambiance, professional service, drink selection, and quality of top cut meats makes Vintage an American Steakhouse! If you go especially if you’re double dating as we were on the last visit be sure to bring the Platinum card, because as with all respectable steak houses, you’re in for a memorable meal and pricey evening.

I LOVE French onion soup, and a picture does not do theirs justice! It was so delicious and perfectly cooked. My Ny strip was delicious and so juicy. We ordered dessert and I started singing to my friend being silly. The waiter heard me and came back over with a candle and stuck it in his apple cobler ( which he said was amazing). I thought that was so sweet of him to do. Overall the food and staff were amazing. The staff made us feel safe and followed covid guidelines. I’d definitely recommend Vintage

As I drove past a McDonalds enroute to Vintage Steak House, I thought how funny it would be to eat there on my trip to Long Island. After reading the reviews, I was hoping for at least a memorable meal and experience at Vintage, but neither proved true. Service seemed almost an afterthought as those of us unfortunate enough not to get an indoor table sat for far too long before being able to order. It over 30 minutes between sitting down and my appetizer arriving. The scallop appetizer special was at least warm, but the sand in my bites tells me they must not have cleaned the scallops well. But they were well cooked. They were chopped and placed on top of mashed potatoes that were bland. A brown sauce was underneath and it had a sour note. I was most pleased when I ate the scallops alone. 15 minutes later my main course of lamb chops and roasted vegetables arrived; it didn’t last long before going back for a second attempt. The veggies were barely lukewarm upon arrival and the lamb I ordered medium rare was almost medium well. When I told the server, he asked that I cut deeper into the chop, which didn’t improve the doneness. The temperature on the veggies weren’t any better on the second attempt, and the meat was closer to rare. The chef forgot to season this going around, so this was a huge $86 fail. I might’ve just had a one off bad experience, but the table next to me sent the majority of their steak back, so maybe it was just the night. Too bad. Unless you know someone here who will take care of you, I’d recommend a hard pass and opt instead for the Big Mac and fries.

Everything we had at vintage was absolutely delicious. My girlfriend and I enjoyed a really great and romantic evening. The service was attentive but unintrusive, the asparagus Parmigiano was delicious as were the clams casino. Steak was cooked perfectly and tender like butter with a delicious crust. Overall 9/10 mashed potatoes were good not great though. Cocktail selection was somewhat limited (about 5 or so signature cocktails) but definitely good all delicious.
