This place was out of this world disgusting customer service suck I waited 30 min for breakfast that’s in the picture , when order was taken over phone I thought twice but went on with the order got there kitchen was not clean bacon , sausage already cooked in the back on the side waiting to be pull out of the pan for orders , everything could of been made in the picture for under 5.00. Ask for cheese through on top , Looking at menu you think you getting an elegant meal but you not . I don’t want an apology just want others to be aware and think twice . Stopping at the store an buying grocery may be a better option for you . I’m a foodie an anytime I travel I want to eat . I would never buy an food from any restaurant in Massunutten resort again by the way this meal was $21 ask her was this price right she said yes but menu said $13 didn’t fight with lady , I just want be back .

Excellent food! We have tried quite a variety and enjoyed everything we have eaten here! Most things are homemade: smoked pork, beef & chicken (the smell of them barbecuing is amazing!), the pizza is great, the collard greens are fabulous, wonderful grilled cheese (delicious bread), the chili is great! The staff is also amazing – they would take turns coming from behind the counter and checking on us brisket and visiting with us- so very friendly! Highly recommend eating here!!

Went here for some chicken to go with the rest of the food I had at the condo we were staying in. I ordered from the kiosk half a chicken. When I received my order, it was a quarter (and a small quarter of chicken at that). When questioning what they were giving me, I was told that yes, they know it says a half, but the amount given was the amount they are supposed to give. That is completely deceitful. To not give the proper amount.

I got a pulled pork sandwich our first night there and my wife had a loaded baked potato. My sandwich was very good. I was told the potato would come with butter and sour cream but it did not. Our last night here we got the carnivore pizza and 1/2 pound of beef brisket with french fries and macaroni and cheese. The pizza was mediocre at best, (dough, sauce and sausage were just not very good). The fries were the best part of the meal and I really don’t care for french fries normally. The macaroni and cheese was bland and a bit disappointing but the brisket was the topper. I would be ashamed to serve that burnt, dry, poor excuse for meat to anybody let alone call it Virginia BBQ brisket and then charge $20 for it. Literally couldn’t even cut through it with steak knives. Save your money and try somewhere else. The staff was very busy yet remained friendly. Maybe I just caught them on a bad night, I don’t know but don’t think I would be willing to give them another chance.

After paying $37 for our two bbq brisket sandwiches, I would now add resort restaurants to those found at airports & amusement parks; places where you pay exorbitant prices for basic food. Because we were starved we were willing to overlook a meal fitted inside a plastic container, dry brisket slices & a hardened, oversized bun. The house bbq sauce was very unique as it was cummin-flavored. I liked it, my wife not so much. The broccoli-bacon salad was our side choice. It sounded good, however, too heavy laden w mayo. After a while, it was a chore to finish. I liked the simple ambiance of the restaurant. There’s an outdoor seating area for when the weather’s pleasant. I thought the menu sign was somewhat busy and crowded. For a first-time viewer, this made it difficult to understand and determine a choice. Plus, there’s no pricing. I would advise taking a short drive outside the resort to find a better place.

We’ve gone here several times for take out food while staying at Massanutten. We’ve done BBQ chicken platters. The chicken is so tender and yummy. We’ve done pizza several times and it’s always great. The crust is bread like without being overly greasy or too thick. The toppings seem high quality. Beer selection is a nice mix of local brews. Can get busy around popular times adding a bit of wait to the food.

Ribs are great, get the apple butter sauce. Brisket is pretty good as well, all the sides were tasty accept for the mac&cheese in our opinion; it was bland and dry, I hope it was just the fact that it was a ” fill in cook” and he didn’t give a darn. Its a very relaxed atmosphere so enjoy.
